No station pick-up, had to walk there myself, and my luggage was a bit big, so the scooter rental company ended up delivering it for me. The duvet insert was a bit old and yellowed. The room has a bathtub (it's a duplex-style room), and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet. The room was clean. The guesthouse doesn't have a lobby, so there's nowhere to sit when checking out, which is a bit of a shame. The Wi-Fi didn't work, so I ended up using my own data! I probably wouldn't choose this place again for my next business trip to Hualien.

The room isn't big (Pic 1), but it was very comfortable for one person. The hotel is very close to the train station (Pic 2) and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel owner is very nice and provides excellent service. Pic 3 shows one of the nearby restaurants recommended by the owner, and it was great. The hotel only has very basic facilities.

This is a charming and well-designed hostel with spacious rooms. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Its location is excellent, tucked away in a quiet alley just off a main road, offering a peaceful retreat while still being incredibly convenient for dining out. Parking is also a breeze, with a free public parking lot conveniently located directly across the street.

The hotel is located in a vibrant and bustling area of Hualien City. Right on the street next to it, you'll find well-known chain restaurants like McDonald's and Mos Burger, making dining, shopping, and transportation incredibly convenient. The only minor drawback was that we encountered heavy rain, which unfortunately limited our outdoor activities.

## Location The guesthouse is conveniently located near Hualien Train Station and the Transfer Station. It's situated in a residential area, ensuring quiet and peaceful nights. There are plenty of amenities close by, including McDonald's, Cosmed, 7-11, and MOS Burger, so even if you arrive late, you'll easily find dining options. ## Guesthouse Style & Cleanliness The guesthouse boasts an industrial-chic design. The front desk features natural wood, while the rooms maintain a minimalist style with no unnecessary furniture, creating a clean and uncluttered environment. Both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. The air conditioning was powerful, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. I particularly appreciated the wide selection of TV channels, including movie channels like HBO. My favorite feature was the three square windows in the room; waking up to the morning sun was truly delightful. ## Check-in/Check-out Process The guesthouse proactively inquired about my arrival time and arranged check-in accordingly. As I had a late flight, self-check-in was required. On the day of my arrival, they sent detailed instructions, including reference photos, for the check-in process and other important notes. Check-out was incredibly simple – I just needed to drop off the key card, making it very convenient and quick. ## Additional Notes The guesthouse thoughtfully provides a food map for backpackers, highlighting recommended places to visit. This was incredibly useful, and I thoroughly enjoyed following its suggestions for local eateries and attractions. While picking up my luggage, I had a lovely chat with a staff member who proactively offered me the restroom and a glass of water – her kindness and hospitality were truly outstanding 🫶🏼🧡. I sincerely hope to stay here again on future visits to Hualien and experience a different room type.

Beautiful setting and excellent service.

What a great place! The room was spacious, clean and the staff was super friendly. In addition to it there is a coffee machine and upper end soaps. Definitely way better than some hotels we have been to! The only drawback is that airplanes fly just over so it can be a little bit noisy during the night.

The owner is very welcoming.

Loved it! The service was excellent, it was clean and comfortable, and very conveniently located near the city center.

The staff at the guesthouse were absolutely wonderful – so warm and polite. They proactively suggested kid-friendly activities and even offered their help when they worried we might not secure bookings during the busy summer season. We felt incredibly welcomed and at home every single day. The guesthouse is conveniently located, with an abundance of restaurants and cafes, as well as many convenience stores nearby. This was incredibly helpful because even though our direct flight from Hong Kong landed past 9 PM, we still had no trouble finding places to pick up daily necessities and grab a late dinner.

We stayed in a 4-person loft room this time, which was spotless and had high ceilings, making it feel incredibly comfortable and spacious. Our kids absolutely loved the design. The owner was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We particularly appreciated the quality of the shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom – it really showed the owner's attention to detail. Conveniently, there's a convenience store nearby, and free parking is available. It was a truly wonderful stay, and we'd definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend it to anyone!

Self check-in was easy, and the place was clean. My only suggestion would be to update the bathroom. My room was right next to the elevator, but the soundproofing was surprisingly good. It's quite a well-established guesthouse.

My room was very well-equipped, and the comfortable bed guaranteed a good night's rest every evening. What particularly stood out was the bathroom – it was spacious, and the hot water supply was consistently reliable, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. Moreover, the guesthouse staff truly impressed me. Both the front desk personnel and the housekeeping team were incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel right at home.
