It belongs to a family-style hot spring hotel. The boss’s wife greeted us very kindly. Because the double room originally booked was a bit problematic, the boss immediately helped us upgrade to a triple room without saying anything. The hot spring bath is dark black, and the hot water is added. You can adjust it yourself. It’s warm, you can soak in the hot spring comfortably in the room, the bed is moderately hard and comfortable, breakfast Chinese dishes, pumpkin porridge, freshly brewed coffee and soy milk, pure hot spring, no extra leisure facilities~

The first time I booked a hotel through trip.com, I set 2 older and 1 younger when searching, and filled in the children’s ages. When arriving at the check-in site, the counter informed that a 6-year-old child would need to pay an extra fee (but the system did not show the extra fee for children when booking. After confirming the order, because the child's part was not displayed, it was impossible to argue with the hotel not to increase the fee. If there is Please pay more attention to this part of the problem. It is recommended to take a screenshot of the screen at the time of booking.
The water quality in the hotel is still good, and the faucets are also hot spring water. If you are not used to it, you can use the mineral water provided by the hotel or bring your own. However, the exhaust fan in the toilet is very loud, and the air conditioner is located outside the toilet and blows directly over the bed. It is really not easy to sleep at night...

The water in the hot spring pool in the room will soon be filled, the hot spring is very convenient, and the hot spring pool water is very comfortable.
Most of the staff were friendly and the male staff at the first night of check-in were more passive and not very helpful.
Dinner is very cost-effective! There are not many restaurants in Mizuho city during the off-season, it is recommended to add dinner.
In the evening, there is an unlimited supply of hand-made coffee and red and white wine, which is very cost-effective and must be reserved for time.

I am very satisfied with the service, facilities, and environment. There is also a golf cart that can be picked up and dropped off at any time. It is very convenient to bring children. When checking out, you can check out the room directly in the room and be transferred directly to the parking lot to help carry the luggage to the car. Highly recommended👍👍 👍

The owner of the homestay is very attentive. I personally like the design style of the room. At first glance, it feels very clean and comfortable. It is suitable for couples or young couples. The iron-containing soup is very distinctive. There is no children’s facilities and no laundry room. The breakfast is well-matched. It’s healthy, but I personally don’t like the sweet potato and egg sandwiches. I don’t know if breakfast is different every day. There are not a few rooms in the hotel, so the parking lot is very small. , Very close to Ruisui Ranch, there is a whole family about 200 meters away! Why only took pictures of the yard...🤣

No one knew that the ground they walked on was a hidden treasure, rich with natural hot springs and minerals. A young man, standing at the age of 30, decided to take a chance for his hometown and his youth. At a depth of 430 meters underground, he discovered an entirely new world.
This journey was a story of gradual accumulation and continuous transformation. Every step forward was meant to let Ruixiong’s guests truly feel warmth and a sense of home. Over the years, our friends who witnessed us tear down various structures and watched us grow, we are deeply grateful to you.
In May, our square public bath was retired, moving into history. Many were in disbelief, even thinking it was just an internet rumor. Thoughtful guests still called to ask and share their concerns. Next to retire was the semi-open-air hot spring bathhouse. We knew that many of our loyal friends came to Ruixiong just for this experience. On the last day of operation, November 30, 2022, seeing your expressions of nostalgia made us realize we must strive even harder. Thank you, dear friends; your support is our driving force. Due to the color and transparency of the hot springs, there are often misunderstandings. When it first emerges from the earth, the spring water is clear and colorless. However, after a brief moment of oxidation, it transforms into a golden hue, known as the “Golden Spring.” This water, with its high mineral content, crystallizes easily (calcium carbonate being the main component), and the color deepens as the water temperature increases. With this unique nature, Ruixiong has upheld the use of the original spring water for the past 20 years.

Aadams yinThis is my fourth time staying here, but the only drawback is that I didn’t notice that the room type I booked was a delicacy room (that is, the room type with the smallest space). I didn’t notice it before (because the non-holiday prices were almost the same). After checking in, I discovered that If you book a luxury room directly from the hotel, the price is hundreds of yuan cheaper than on the website. I immediately contacted customer service, and of course the customer service also provided compensation measures.
I hope that subsequent websites can more carefully check the room types provided by the hotel to avoid misunderstandings by users and a bad impression.

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Xinxin Noodle House and 5 minutes to Dongdaemun Night Market. There is no breakfast attached to the B&B, but there are many delicious restaurants nearby.
If you arrive early in the afternoon, you can park in the parking lot of Dongdaemun Night Market (free)
The dog in the B&B is very cute and coquettish. I stayed for another 2 nights. The boss reminded me that there is a washing machine upstairs that you can use for free. It dried in the sun overnight. It is a different washing machine than the one used to clean the bed sheets in the room. This is my second time here. I will consider this place next time!

GGuest UserService was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided.
Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well.
Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too!
Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”.
Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night.
Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

TTobias TDuring my recent trip to Hualien, I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, the prison theme instantly caught my attention. The rooms were designed to resemble prison cells, which added an intriguing and immersive element to my stay.
One thing that stood out to me was the absence of a traditional reception desk. Instead, to gain entry, all guests need to do is call the contact number provided, which adds a touch of mystery to the experience. The lady working there was exceptionally helpful and patient, even taking the time to explain how to use the facilities in Chinese. Her assistance made my stay all the more enjoyable.
As a solo traveler, I couldn't help but appreciate the eerie vibes that the place exudes, especially since I'm a fan of horror. Every night, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere that perfectly catered to my taste. It's not often that you come across a hostel that provides such a unique and thrilling ambiance.
Cleanliness is always a priority for me, and I was pleased to find that Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel did not disappoint in this aspect. The rooms were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The convenient location of the hostel was also a major plus, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy everything that Hualien has to offer.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
