Location was good, one of the nearest to the train station, about 5-7mins walk. There is a roof terrace and in-house restaurant. They also provide bike rental. The local night market (only on fri-sun night), was just one street away outside the Inn walkable in 1-2 mins. Staff was very friendly and helpful too. The room looks clean overall, but we spotted some mouldy spots around.

民宿位於花蓮的新城太魯閣站，走路行過去13分鐘左右，
老闆娘很好check in 時講了很多有用的旅遊資訊，例如：附近的餐廳、交通同沙灘，並代訂沙灘車。房間佈置小清新，附有露台，環境清幽恬靜。新城的餐廳同商店集中係新城老街，由民宿走過去要20分鐘，老闆娘說若果太晚她可以駕車接我們從老街回民宿。
早上的早餐十分精緻美味，配上一杯咖啡，感受渡假的感覺。
民宿附近有一間曾記麻糬味道不錯，順路可買回家做手信。感謝民宿接我們回民宿及在最後一日車我們到火車站，入住時房間有貼由老闆娘手寫的歡迎入住便條，很窩心，充滿人情味的住宿體驗，推薦俾大家。

1. 在攜程上預訂時特意選擇了比普通海景房更貴的豪華套房，但在前台時被告知並非海景房。吃驚之餘仔細查看下，原來還有“豪華海景套房”在被自動隱藏的頁面下方。總而言之，其“沁海館”之名，攜程推薦房型之順序，以及示例圖片中大片藍天之與海色相似，易讓人產生誤解。望酒店及平台加註“非海景”大標簽，旅客們也得多多留心宣傳中的細節。
2. 酒店奉行環保政策，毛巾拖鞋自然差強人意。其他硬件較新，沒有瓶裝水但有minibar（特色檸檬水和茶不錯）。早餐豐盛有一定特色，但人較多空間略顯狹窄
3. 雖然衹是很小的一點，但還是想專門提及：酒店並無禮賓服務提送行李到房間。作為新開飯店，這一點卻不及台北高雄許多老飯店有人情味。旅客當然可以拉着行李走很遠的旅途，但若能空手輕鬆走進房間不失為行程中一絲慰藉

當晚我們到達入住酒店後，請櫃檯小姐幫辦理入住手續，但 櫃檯小姐讓我們自己在機器上辦理入住，結果讓我們在二棟大樓中來來回回穿梭也無法辦理入住，後來還是回到先前的櫃檯，請小姐辦理才能入住，她說可能機器出了問題，暈😵💫。另外，我訂了二人一間和一人一間，共二個房間，櫃檯小姐給我們門卡時也不曾提示房間是一大一小間，到第二天才知道，二人住的是間小房，我認為她應該告訴我們此事的，二人可以住大間的不用那麼擁擠。還有房間裡是沒有飲用水，事先櫃檯人員也沒說，後來我們再電話詢問才得知在一樓，酒店應該事先讓旅客知道這些事的，但是、沒有。這是一次很糟的旅遊經驗。

EEstelaKThis amazing mountainside bed and breakfast is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Our room had a spectacular view of the city and a nice porch. I later found out the owner had upgraded us to the best room for free since it was empty. Incredible hotel and customer service! We arrived tired after hiking around Toroko Gorge and didn’t want to get a taxi to go to the city to get food. We were going to eat some bread we had with us, but they made us a big pot of delicious noodle soup and didn’t charge us anything! Breakfast was yummy traditional ********* food. They also let us do laundry there for free. The owner gave me his phone number and offered to drive us into town whenever we needed. He said he likes to welcome his guests like friends who are visiting from out of town. My daughter loved playing with the hotel dog, Ahua, and kittens. Just walking around the hotel, you can enjoy fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery. What an incredible stay. So much cheaper and more relaxing than Taipei. I am telling all my friends. I can’t wait to come back!

QQingLocation of this hotel is very convenient and near to many food areas and there are many retail shops around too. Thankful for the room upgrade as it was very spacious and we had a comfortable stay. Front desk staff is helpful and resourceful as they are able to help find certain information that we require. Appreciate that they provide umbrellas at the entrance for hotel guests too.

SSchweppeVery convenient location very near Hualien train station. Nice public area with lots of outlets and with water dispenser. Free coffee and tea packs. Simple breakfast is included but it starts late. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very awkward ladder going up the topdeck of the bed in the dorm room, as shown in the picture.

下午早一點到，就可以停東大門夜市的停車場（免費）
民宿店狗非常可愛愛撒嬌，另外住2晚，老闆提醒，樓上有洗衣機可以免費使用，曬一晚就乾了，跟店家清洗房間的床單是不同洗衣機的，已經是第二次來住，下次還是會考慮這裡喔！

WWayneHXLWe got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice.
Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided.
Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well.
Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too!
Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”.
Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night.
Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

TTobias TDuring my recent trip to Hualien, I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, the prison theme instantly caught my attention. The rooms were designed to resemble prison cells, which added an intriguing and immersive element to my stay.
One thing that stood out to me was the absence of a traditional reception desk. Instead, to gain entry, all guests need to do is call the contact number provided, which adds a touch of mystery to the experience. The lady working there was exceptionally helpful and patient, even taking the time to explain how to use the facilities in Chinese. Her assistance made my stay all the more enjoyable.
As a solo traveler, I couldn't help but appreciate the eerie vibes that the place exudes, especially since I'm a fan of horror. Every night, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere that perfectly catered to my taste. It's not often that you come across a hostel that provides such a unique and thrilling ambiance.
Cleanliness is always a priority for me, and I was pleased to find that Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel did not disappoint in this aspect. The rooms were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The convenient location of the hostel was also a major plus, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy everything that Hualien has to offer.
In conclusion, if you're an adventurous traveler seeking a one-of-a-kind experience, I highly recommend checking out Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel. With its prison-themed rooms, helpful staff, eerie ambiance, and convenient location, it's an ideal choice for those looking to add an exciting twist to their trip. @@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
