Hotel tastefully decorated, mixing classic Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist lines. There’s an Onsen style spa in the hotel with 4 pools that helps you recover from the trekking day. The breakfast has a good variety of choices, although it didn’t change for the 3 nights we stayed. The staff in the spa was really nice, the same as the chauffeur of the hotel. The girls in the front desk were just OK, doing their job, but not quite welcoming as we expect from such category of hotel. I think it’s the only point to improve as I think that they are the first face a guess meets when entering from a long trip.

Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

Hotel paling indah di gunung, betul-betul di seberang Beihai Hotel. Rahsia dan sunyi. Butler penuh perhatian dan makanannya enak. Menginap di Hotel Yupingshan, saya rasa ingin pulang. Kami memandu kereta kabel terakhir untuk tinggal di atas gunung untuk melihat matahari terbit dan terbenam. Saya menghabiskan dua hari melawat Gunung Huangshan. Hari pertama di gunung belakang dan hari kedua sebelum gunung. Untuk melihat matahari terbit dari Guangmingding, saya memilih untuk tinggal di Hotel Baiyun tidak jauh dari Guangmingding. Dalam talian menunjukkan bahawa keluasan bilik adalah 14 meter persegi, dan bilik sebenar adalah lebih besar daripada yang dijangkakan. Keadaan di gunung adalah terhad, dan hiasan bilik pastinya tidak setanding dengan hotel empat atau lima bintang di bandar, tetapi mujurlah, ia bersih dan kemas. I climbed the Yellow Mountain 3 times and every time I stayed at this hotel. For the second time I chose this hotel because I remembered the little stone tigers leading you to the entrance. It’s a beautiful way of settling in the mountain. Also, I still knew it had a good location and I liked the warm coats that you can borrow. The third time I choose this hotel because of mr. Xiao Li (管家小李). He is truly a great host. We were taken care of so well: he sent us weather reports, gave us a good overview of the mountain, led us to the sunrise viewing spots, and just has a very warm personality. Mr. Xiao li will be the reason for me to book this hotel again in the future. Thank you for your care.

Jika anda perlu pergi dari pintu selatan, laluan kabel Yungu lebih dekat dengannya daripada Yuping. Hotel ini sememangnya terkini dari keseluruhan fasad, bahagian dalam agak bersih, dan biliknya kecil. The breakfast has a good variety of choices, although it didn’t change for the 3 nights we stayed. The staff in the spa was really nice, the same as the chauffeur of the hotel. The girls in the front desk were just OK, doing their job, but not quite welcoming as we expect from such category of hotel. I think it’s the only point to improve as I think that they are the first face a guess meets when entering from a long trip.

Saya menghabiskan dua hari melawat Gunung Huangshan. Hari pertama di gunung belakang dan hari kedua sebelum gunung. Untuk melihat matahari terbit dari Guangmingding, saya memilih untuk tinggal di Hotel Baiyun tidak jauh dari Guangmingding. Dalam talian menunjukkan bahawa keluasan bilik adalah 14 meter persegi, dan bilik sebenar adalah lebih besar daripada yang dijangkakan. Keadaan di gunung adalah terhad, dan hiasan bilik pastinya tidak setanding dengan hotel empat atau lima bintang di bandar, tetapi mujurlah, ia bersih dan kemas. Ramai orang akan mengatakan mengapa ia mengambil masa lebih daripada 1,000 malam, dan ia hampir sama jika satu 0 dialih keluar. Bukankah kerana gunung itu jarang dan anda mengambil peluang untuk menaikkan harga? Saya fikir ia agak berat sebelah. Berada di atas gunung adalah salah satu sebabnya. Lokasi geografi menyebabkan kos pembinaan dan operasi lebih tinggi daripada purata hotel. Payung, lampu suluh terang, jaket bawah, detergen dobi, memandangkan kesejukan gunung, dilengkapi dengan pemanas elektrik dan rak yang boleh mengeringkan pakaian, hotel ini juga mengatur kakitangan perkhidmatan untuk setiap pengunjung, kakitangan perkhidmatan saya adalah Shi Xiaomin, Ia sangat intim untuk memberikan maklumat tentang cuaca gunung, waktu matahari terbit dan terbenam, tempat dan laluan yang indah. Jika anda mempunyai sebarang keperluan atau soalan, anda boleh menghubunginya untuk menyelesaikannya. Sebelum bertolak, saya juga menghantar cenderahati hotel, iaitu teh hitam Huangshan Maofeng Dan Qimen tempatan. Pendek kata, kadar bilik tidak murah, tetapi menginap di Baiyun Hotel adalah pengalaman yang sangat selesa.

Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

Hotel paling indah di gunung, betul-betul di seberang Beihai Hotel. Rahsia dan sunyi. Butler penuh perhatian dan makanannya enak. Minuman dan makanan ringan buah percuma, dan anda boleh mengeringkan pakaian dan kasut anda sekiranya anda terperangkap dalam hujan. Terdapat juga pengering kasut, tandas pintar, pemanasan lantai dan penyahhidratan di dalam bilik. Anda mesti tahu bahawa pengangkutan Huangshan bergantung pada kuli, dan hotel mesti menghabiskan banyak usaha untuk mengekalkan tahap perisian dan perkakasan ini! Layak datang lagi!
