PPengguna Tetamu必須五星好評👏週末兩天帶家人和小狗來玩水，住的這家民宿,不收狗狗清潔費，房間非常敞亮乾淨。老闆一家人都好熱情，我們從上海出發時就電話我們，説快到時提前告訴他一下，天太熱，他會提前把空調給我們開開，太暖心了吧。快到時，遠遠就看到老闆在門口等着引導我們停車，幫我們拿行李，去漂流的話還會開介紹信減些門票費用。我特別喜歡院子的設計風格，一大早帶狗狗到草坪上玩，小狗直接撒歡兒開跑，小狗也給老闆打好評哈哈

PPengguna TetamuTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay at Naked Stables was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable for our whole family. We travelled as a family of six, including two elderly members and two kids, and the resort was perfect for all ages. There were plenty of engaging activities to keep everyone happy — from fishing, pottery, and crafts to outdoor experiences. The kids especially loved the horse riding and grooming sessions, which were thoughtfully organised and very safe. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathtub was such a treat. The villa was beautifully decorated, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful surprise of decorations and cakes arranged for our son’s birthday — a gesture that made our stay extra special. Getting around the resort was effortless, as the buggy service promptly picked us up from the villa whenever we needed. We also loved having a lovely hiking trail right outside our villa, perfect for a peaceful morning. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the noodle station was a definite highlight for us. A special mention goes to Chuan Chuan the resident dog— friendly, gentle, and absolutely adored by our kids. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, making our stay both relaxing and joyful. We left with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return to Naked Stables again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, nature, and meaningful experiences.

YYi CuiMy family of 3, 2 adults and a 2 year old, stayed 1 night in the ”Forest Concert” room which is a kids' themed room. It's clear the room was originally designed to be a regular guest room but later turned into a themed kids' room, rather than a truly original themed room. I can tell because the room is a bit too cramped to fit in a kids' slide, stuffed animal seats, and kids' bed, and a play-fort. But my 2 year old still loved it nonetheless. These rooms are hard to come by so if you're maximizing your kid's happiness rather than your own in-room experience as an adult, it's worth it. However, the room's a bit aged, you can tell from scratches and signs of wear and tear in corners, bed post, walls, etc. Didn't feel like an exceptionally clean room, but not outright unclean either. The breakfast spread is rather plain, not bad, but I expected better for this room rate. I feel most Marriott's or Hyatt Regency in China could offer a better breakfast than here. My biggest complaint is that the hotel seems too commercially motivated for a luxury resort. What do I mean by this? First, in the lobby halls and hotel grounds there are walls and walls of merchandise being offered, and a large gift shop with Banyan Tree branded goods. In the room itself, there are constant reminders, on amenity stickers and tags, of which amenities are charged to your room if you take it home by accident (or not). Not surprisingly, not many things were generously given in this hotel - the fruit platter was pitiful, and no minibar items were free. I'm not expecting freebies but too many reminders of these things leaves a sour taste in my mouth. This was my second Banyan Tree in China, my first being in Huangshan, and both left me underwhelmed. I feel given this room rate, you can do much better in similar level brands in Japan or SE Asia, like high end Ritz Carltons or Park Hyatts.

JJuliaFThis is indeed a nice hotel with beautiful facilities, though there are things to improve , given the high price. Many comments mention that someone has added them on WeChat upon booking, communicating the details of the booking and reminding to make dinner reservations. Unfortunately , nobody has added me and I feel like we missed out many things because of that. For example, we didn’t know that every on-site activity is organized per certain hour , as we arrived around 3 pm we already missed most of them on that day. Also , because of the holiday, the famous castle Chinese restaurant was fully booked for dinner and the next day’s lunch so couldn’t appreciate it . We had to settle for a room service that had very limited options not to mention, was ridiculously overpriced . 300 yuan for three basic dishes like fried rice, stir-fried pork and pork ribs soup, small portions too. Pity. There was a buffet diner happening at another restaurant by the pool, but 460¥ per person seemed too expensive so we passed. Some other small things like broken locker in a changing room or plenty of leaves and trash from the trees in the pool that nobody bothered to clean - felt annoying, again, considering the price per night. I’d still recommend this hotel for visiting at least once in your life. Service is mostly very good, breakfast more than decent, the heated outdoor pool is lots of fun even with the dry leaves floating on it. They have a game room, “activity village” with many things happening all day round ( watch the time though ) , the room I booked was nothing special but had everything we needed. It’s convenient to move around the territory on a “buggy” , they are very efficient. Only if you have a choice , maybe don’t come here on a national holiday so overall experience would be better.

JJ.L00房间干净，风景好，但服务、体验感、性价比一般。 This place is designed for the 'gram, not the 3000 RMB/night experience. The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations. Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers. Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast. Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/ I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub. Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos. The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to. The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with. I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.

PPengguna TetamuEverything was absolutely amazing! We had stayed at this hotel before when it was still Huttopia, now the area has expanded and offers more activities (horse riding, petting zoo). The concept of staying in wooden cabins in the middle of a bamboo forest is unique, the scent of pine wood is pleasant and very relaxing. This is a dog-friendly hotel, cleaning fee is 200 yuan per stay which is reasonable. I strongly recommend this place to people with dogs as there are many paths in the area to take dogs for a walk, without worrying about traffic, the area is closed off to public, only cars with special permit can drive around. The breakfast had a wide variety of items to choose from, both Chinese and Western. And real COFFEE! Afternoon tea was delicious, shrimp with mango sauce and spicy salmon on a toast both tasted like Thai food and were super fresh! The hotel offers facilities for everyone - playground and swimming pool for children, outdoor sauna + jacuzzi for adults. We loved going to sauna surrounded by bamboo and then taking a cold shower outside, it’s so refreshing on a sunny winter day! We love this place and we will surely be back.

The location is also amazing, walking distance from the “Skyland Park”. The breakfast was also very good (  multi Western and Chinese options). MMissBee2023Tucked up a mountain, perfect if you don’t want to venture too far out. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating- cooking food for us when we arrived, ordering in drinks, arranging cars to head into town. The rooms are a little rough around the edges - they could do with a thorough repaint perhaps, but they were clean enough. Great communal area to socialise with friends and great food too

The hotel's traditional layout and riverside location offer a glimpse into the past. Hotel Manager Ms. Liu ensured a friendly stay, assisting us with luggage and transportation (If you are taking a cab, the easiest road to reach the Hotel is via the back yard of the 锦里民宿 Jinli Minsu). We enjoyed a memorable experience at Shangyuge Hotel in the heart of Nanxun Ancient Town!
