There were 8 in our party, 60 years plus. Arrived at Hotel 11.30 at night. Sorted rooms dumped suit cases in the room had a nightcap. Staff is very friendly. Came down to breakfast the following morning, got told Turkish breakfast included in bed and breakfast English breakfast extra at around a fiver. We both like Turkish breakfast, so we ordered Turkish. 2 of the party ordered full English when it came, and there was no Bacon. Apparently had none. Other guests had Turkish, and a couple had omelette or eggs on toast. We did not find out until the beginning of our 2nd week from another gust that we could order eggs on toast and omelette as part of the bed and breakfast. The outside of the hotel looks very modern, the rooms, however, were very dated. Our room and the room of my sister in law and brother in law were fine. Nothing was falling to bits except a leak from the shower, which never got fixed, and the maid started leaving extra bath mats. The room was dated, but the balcony was amazing. Table and chairs, 2 sun beds and still plenty of room. The other two couples were not as lucky. Broken wardrobe Broken draws. Ducking when entering a room or balcony. They asked to change rooms but got told that there would be an extra 7.00 per night. The pool area was nice, not enough sunbeds to cover even 2 people in a room. By 7.30, not a sunbed to be had and not used until near lunchtime, which was annoying. The pool itself had steps leading into the pool. A lot of the tiles were missing, as well as the tles missing at the bottom of the pool. After a complaint from another guest, Jet 2 did speak with the management, and they tried to stick tiles down whilst the pool was full of water. Didn't work. The handrail leading into the pool was 3ft to short. The hotel had two cats. One was vicious, and the other docile. They roamed around the pool on the sun loungers where people had put their towels. They were in the bar and restaurant area, jumping on seats and tables, and even when not invited, they jumped on customer knees. It's not acceptable. A stray puppy arrived into the hotel, a beautiful spaniel which you could tell had escaped its home. The puppy was allowed to roam, but because it wasn't being taken on long walks was peeing in the pool area, the restaurant and had a couple of poos which the bar / restaurant staff had to clean up. I've never seen them washing their hands afterwards. This is a hygiene problem. Your holiday is what you make it, and overall, we had a good holiday. Four of our parties did spend a lot of time in the hotel. The other four, including my husband and I, choose to venture out and eat. Cannot fault the room cleaning staff did an excellent job. The bar staff were friendly.
