It was memorable stay at Portree Thekkady , Superb View from the resort as well as Room, We took club room !! Icing on cake is infinity Pool !!!! Superb staff all are very supportive specially Suresh and all the staff are very helpful , We will visit again

Beautiful property set in a serene location. Neatly maintained rooms with smooth checkin process.Pleased with the breakfast spread and dining experience too. The infinity pool and 360⁰ point offers a stunning view of the valley. Hospitality was excellent and overall it was an amazing experience.

Portree is a beautiful top of the hill, Rooms are valley facing property with Lush green surroundings. Rooms are decent. Nice hospitality shown by the entire staff of the hotel, especially Suresh who is an excellent photographer. His funny tricks & faces will make you smile and he can click some of most memorable pictures. Shivani in the restaurant is also an excellent host. Their infinity pool is also good.

Highly recommended - neat and clean rooms and great service. Buffet breakfast and dinner was good. View and swimming pool was really good. Great staff ! They also have game room, gym, foosball, chess. Nice view from room and restaurant. Must visit!

This is a must visit property. WGH Poetree property is very good. Every unit has a Forest view or a swimming pool view. Wiht the reception located the upper most deck. Anybody entering will have a breath taking from the reception patio seeing the swimming pool & the forest below What enhances this experience further is the extremely customer oriented staff. Everybody right from the reception to the restaurant greets with you a smile. Special mention to front desk personnel Anaha, Sneha, Tino, Tarun , Mithun - you made my family stay very very special Shibin from travel desk is amazing. He gaves us bunch of info on sightseeing spots , organized a slot at elephants junction and was always ready to serve us to make our sight seeing experience special Suresh - regret missing in him the first 3 days. He took us to the upper most terrace and took some beautiful photos . Our friends & extended family were asking how did we end up such good photos and was it a professional photographer who shot those pictures. All were taken from normal Android phones with Suresh's special magical touch Lastly , the restaurant. Wonderful buffet spread for Breakfast & Dinner. Didn't have lunch as we were out all 4 days for sight seeing . Excellent & very courteous stadd One day prior to departure , my daughter fell very sick. Madhan from the restaurant arranged couple of his staff and a organized vehicle to take her to the Doctor in a hospital. We were a bit worried since it is a new place but this gesture from Madhan and WGH Poetree tie up with a nearby hospital was a BIG reassurance. I cannot thank Madhan enough for this wonderful gesture Last but not the least, the restaurant captain Shalini - she brightens up the whole restaurant with her smile . I wonder how she remembers all the customers at the restaurant, makes attempt to know their likes /dislikes of their food choices and is genuinely interested in understanding the customer needs.She is a girl with wheel under her shoe - hopping from table to table ,.ensuring every customer is attended to and all their food needs are met. She is a hit with children Overall, a Wonderful stay and must visit resort.we planned this resort as a last minute item and went there solely relying on Trip advisor reviews. Kept telling my family to keep their expectations tempered while driving to the resort. *** , it turned out to be much much better than what I read in the internet & reviews. Thank you to all the Wonderful staff - you make this scenic place more beautiful & pleasant with your strong customer orientation & Wonderful work ethic. We will be definitely visiting this resort once again some time in Q4 or early next year

All good locations nice room are good stafe service good so clean &neat nice experience good ,good food nice to stay good maintenance in pool good looking Mr Suresh was very helpful and guided us thank u definitely recommend to others we will be back soon
