Hotel berhampiran Kamagatani Valley, Ikeda

Chose this hotel as a tourist deal with a return free shuttle bus from Nagoya (post Covid) Shuttle left on time from the Shinkansen side…only about 20-25 people. Very comfortable bus with shields between the seats..lots of room and many windows to be opened if you so chose. Arrived in Gifu on schedule. Not able to check in early but our luggage was kept for us and put into our room before we checked in. A large room and a big bathroom on the 6th floor (618) looking out over the river and with a great view of Gifu castle. A pleasant and easy walk along the river to the bridge going over to the park and ropeway up to Gifu castle (beautiful foliage right now and the park is free to walk around!) Good wifi in the room…and check out until 12. Could not ask for anything more. The hotel has a luxurious feel in the communal areas and the staff were all extremely pleasant and courteous. Would definitely stay again if the price were right.

an old hotel but suitable for those with budget and need a privacy and comfort space. breakfast is simple, just bread, egg and coffee or juice. near to train station. public car park opposite for small car. lift to lobby at 4th floor. easy to check in and check out.

Convenient country hotel, with shops and restaurants nearby. Safe to wander at night, like most of Japan, and we found a lovely cafe where no-one spoke English but we pointed to the picture to get what we wanted. Only drawback the windows don't open and the air con couldn't be adjusted, but a fan was sent up- along with extra pillows. Small but comfortable rooms.

３月上旬に１泊しました。米原駅新幹線口すぐなので、アクセスは文句なしです。とはいえテルの選択肢もほぼここ一択です。駅そばにスーパーがありますが、遅い時間には閉まっています。その他、周囲にお店らしいお店はありません。一応駅ナカにコンビニがありますが、夜遅いと閉まっているので、その場合はホテル裏にあるファミリーマートへ。ホテルから徒歩３分くらいです。私はホテル着が２３時を過ぎていたので、このファミリーマートを見つけた時は「神様に会えた」くらいの感動でした(笑)。 室内とサービスは「安心、安定の東横イン」です。それ以上もそれ以下もありません。

Foi muito bom a estadia, quarto estava limpo. Café da manhã estava ótimo.

駅から近くとても綺麗なエントランス。 駐車場は少し迷いましたが、フロントで案内してもらいすぐ裏の機械式の駐車場にスムーズに駐めさせてもらいました。 遅いチェックインでしたが、丁寧なスタッフさんに受付していただきました。 前回宿泊した他県のロイネットホテルでは、サービスで好きなだけのご当地入浴剤をいただきましたが、今回は無かったのが残念でした。 朝食も品数が少なかったのと、機械で出てくるオレンジジュースがほぼ水だったのも残念でした(主人談) お部屋はとても居心地良く快適に眠れました。 お世話になりました！ また岐阜に行く際はよろしくお願いします。

大垣駅近くのホテルです。 立地は申し分ありません。 ホテルに有料駐車場はありますが、大垣駅前パーキングを利用しました。1日700円でした。 大浴場は少し小さめで他の客と一緒になれば少々気まずいサイズです。ミストサウナ付きなのは大変珍しいです。 1階のウェルカムアルコールドリンクは自分で自由に作って飲めます。割と種類が豊富です。 できたてほやほやのホテルなので部屋と浴室はもちろん綺麗でアメニティも充分備え付けのもので間に合います。 朝ごはんは一般的なバイキングでした。

無料の朝食は、軽く食べたい人には丁度良い感じ。鶏肉のちゃんちゃん焼は自分の口には合いませんでした。無料のコーヒーは特別に美味しくもなく、不味くもなく。部屋は清潔で必要最低限のものは揃っていて不便は感じませんでした。駅から近い上、風俗街からも離れているので、女性には安心な立地。洗濯機があるから選んだのですが、（有料）３つしかなくて、使用後放置している人（男性でした）がなかなか現れず、フロントを呼んでよけてもらうことになりました。そもそも使用するのに、1時間ほど待ちました。待っている間も、自分と同じゆおに、洗濯機の空き状況を確かめに来る人（全員女性）が3人。夜、ホテル外でのコインランドリーは使いたくないですよね。ランドリーの使用状況がわかるといいなあ、と思います。

I chose Daiwa because of its location is by the lake location and not too far away from Kurokabe distance. Daiwa is famous for good price performance ratio, meaning not expensive room rate yet providing quality room and service. The hotel lobby is grand, and you pick up the bathroom amenities at lobby yourselves. Check in was smooth but you have to bring your own luggage to your room. The hotel charge you Yen 500 for parking per night but give you Yen 500 voucher in return which you can spend in the hotel, not a bad deal. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to the Nagahama station for hotel guests if you are not driving. Even taking a taxi from the station to hotel is not more than 5 minutes. The station is just a few minutes walks to the famous Kurokabe Plaza and its surrounding waling streets. Yukata is available on each floor lobby where you pick your selection and size. We were allocated at the corner room which is very spacious, overlooking the lake and the pier, with windows on two sides, and therefore, very bright when the weather is sunny. We reserved a dinner in the booking with the hotel. The dinner is served in the function. It was a multi course dinner with various cooking method of Omi beef, including stew, hot pot and grill, plus a variety of other dishes such as sashimi. Server is very good and the staff are trying hard to communicate with us in English. The onsen on the ground floor is not very big, but the two nights we stayed are Friday and Saturday, so there were extremely many people. There is a souvenir shop which opens until 9pm, a bit early. After we checked out the hotel, we walked around the Nagahama Castle Park which is five minutes walk away from hotel. The castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the sixteen century but the current castle is a re-built. We dined at the hotel lobby tea lounge for lunch. But the meal was probably the worst meal I have ever had in Japan over the years. I think a tea should be fine with a good view of the lake. The location of the hotel, and the service quality makes an ideal choice when staying in Nagahama.

建物は少し古いが部屋は綺麗、広さもシングルだったが丁度良い。隣のシャワーの水音や廊下での話し声は聞こえたが後は気にならなかった。ベッドの硬さも丁度良く良眠。枕が足りなければクローゼットに予備あり。冷蔵庫のサイズも他と比べると大きい方ではないかと思う。ホテル近くにドラッグストア、中華店あり、少し距離はあるが牛丼屋もあり。駐車場無料が何より嬉しい。 バッドポイントはハンドタオル1枚のみ。2枚あれば嬉しい。ドライヤーは弱く少し焦臭いので変えた方がいいと思う。今回の部屋だけなのかは不明。バスタブも足を伸ばせるがバスタブから水が垂れると排水のせいか溜まっていた。 テレビの局も多いがBSの変え方が書いてるのが分かりづらく地上波のみ見ていた。 布団が薄く部屋の温度調整はフロントでの変更。持参していたブランケットだけでは辛く電話して温度を上げてもらった。 チェックアウト時間も10時と余裕あり、長距離を運転してきたのでゆっくりすることができました。 また、機会があれば泊まりたいと思います。
