Vilatoro Guest House

Had such an amazing time at Vilatoro! The guest house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. We had an incredible sea view and plenty of privacy, and breakfast was delicious every day (Patricia is the best). Fernando was so helpful, kind and patient (we don’t speak Portuguese ☺️), and gave us great recommendations for activities and food. 10 out of 10, we’ll definitely be recommending to our friends.

We wanted to wait until the end of our stay here, but just a couple of days in we felt compelled to leave a review as it had been such a brilliant stay already. Let’s start with the house - the photos do not do it justice, it is impeccably designed, with beautiful furniture and exquisite taste. It is very stylish and really distinctive. I would much rather stay here than the other high-end place on the island, for instance the Wyndham Hotel. Vilatoro has a much more boutique, unique feel and for us was much more memorable than any other similar 5* hotel. It is also a little bit further out and therefore much quieter and relaxing than being on the main area / near a busy road - which is one of the most charming things about Ilhabela and really what we came for - relaxing surrounded by the beautiful wildlife and stunning views of the ocean. Then the staff/service - Fernando was just the most helpful, thoughtful, kind person you could hope to meet. Genuinely just a few examples include him helping us get a car, arranging a massage, ordering food when we felt like staying in because the house was so nice, cutting fresh beautiful flowers, suggesting nice restuarants and beaches. He even offered to pick us up at the port when we arrived late and there were no taxis. The breakfast and food offering was also really well done - it’s simple, but done excellently - the omelette is sensational, and the afternoon sponge cakes very fluffy and light. Cannot recommend enough - it vastly exceeded our expectations and was the best place we stayed at during our two weeks in Brazil. We can’t wait to visit again. Maybe we’ll also ask for interior design tips!

Os donos da casa foram extremamente atenciosos e cuidadosos com todos os detalhes. Nos sentimos acolhidos como se já fôssemos amigos! Visita da pausada lindíssima! Localização ótima! Longe de muvuca. Esperamos voltar em breve! Foi nossa primeira vez em ilha bela e sem dúvidas voltaremos.

A hospitalidade dos proprietários é incrível, o café da manhã, a vista do quarto é surreal, dormi literalmente em cima do mar. Além de tudo, a casa que é belíssima e confortável. E possuem carregador para carro elétrico. Super recomendo a hospedagem

Realizamos nosso casamento e ficamos hospedados com nossas famílias na casa. A casa é maravilhosa e tem uma energia boa! Tudo foi ótimo, a festa,a hospedagem, a vista é incrível(a casa é na costeira) a cerimônia foi realizada no pier da casa com um pôr do sol lindo! A festa foi na beira da piscina (que é um espetáculo) os proprietários Pedro e Fernando são muito atenciosos, divertidos,enfim uns amores... Foi a escolha certa! O café da manhã maravilhoso,as suítes são lindas e confortáveis,na verdade,não dá nem vontade de ir embora. Tudo perfeito! Impecável! Para nós, foi um sonho realizado. E já reservamos a data para a nossa renovação de votos em março de 2024,que não poderia ser em outro lugar. A Pedro e Fernando, nossos agradecimentos e até breve!
