We stayed for 4 nights starting 1st Jan 2024. We had prebooked a husky ride, a snowmobile ride, a reindeer sleigh ride, and an aurora hunt. We arrived late on the 1st so missed dinner, the receiptionist was kind enough to arrange some chicken soup. We were given our keycard, and directions to our hut, and carried our bags down to the hut, difficult when your not used to the temperatures, walking on snow, and unsure of where your going. I later found out we could have paid someone to take them. The hut was a real disappointment, I had already googled images available on their website, so had an idea of what to expect. The last two images you see on my pictures are what they advertise, the rest of the images are my own, which I took of the interior of the cabin. It was very very cold, the temperature in our cabin was 7.5 degrees, (theres a thermostat in the room), there was no fire like you see in their picture, if you look carefully on my image of the beds, you can see on the floor a small white box and a hole, inbetween the single beds on the floor - This I guess is where the fire used to be, but its been blanked off, and removed. The only heating was underfloor heating, and there was no underfloor heating at all in the bathroom. They had a large rug on the floor, which probably made the room even colder. The bed was the opposite way around as is shown in their image, so our heads were directly under the window, looking back into the cabin. (so much for a great view), And I can tell you it was freezing that first night. I actually slept with my hat on, and sheepskin slippers . We thought it was because they had only just put the heating on or something. but when we got up the next morning, checked the termostat, and it had only risen to 8 degrees. I couldn't have a shower, I was that cold, then discovered there was no plug in the sink, so couldn't even have a proper wash. Still hadn't warmed up by the afternoon, so my husband went up to see them, and they brought us a fan heater. Which was very noisy, but I couldn't care less by then, it did warm the room up to around 20 degrees, which was a great improvement on the 7 or 8 degrees previous. The temperature outside was down to -35 degrees, and I just don't think these cabins have been designed to cope with these conditions. There are no usb charging points, just standard european plug holes 2 pin. But they are positioned on the wall right down low near the skirtings, and no where near the head of the bed (at least in the position the beds are in at the moment). So you can't access your phone from the bed when its charging. We use our phones as alarms, so to turn off the alarm you had to get out of bed to get to it. Not ideal in those temperatures. You only get one bedside table, and thats round in shape, so doesn't fit against the wall very well. We had several things that needed charging, which is probably the same as most people, 2 phones, a kindles, glove warmers, laptop, head torch, so it
