New Hotel Collection Harbourside

Used to stay here every time when we came down but this last time was definitely the worst. Had to beg to get clean towels, and had to call multiple times to ask. We were supposed to be there for 11 nights but ended up leaving after 7 because it was terrible. Room smelled, heat and or air wouldn’t work.

worst part of the experience was the check in, or to be more precise finding where to check in there is nothing to indicate what building is the lobby and it's not connected to the building with the rooms. so I spent like an hour trying to find the lobby. once I finally did get inside and talked to the staff things went smoothly after that. the only thing I saw that was anything of a sign you could only read if you where standing right next to the door. I need something I can spot as I'm driving so i don't pass the building several times, thinking it's something else as I'm looking for a sign. also would of been nice to have blackout curtains on the windows even though it did get mostly dark at night. and would of also been nice to have some rugs under the table the hardwood looks nice but was dam cold to try to stand on. aside from that though it was a really nice room, far bigger and better equipped than I would of expected for the price. so all in all it was a good deal even with the problems I still think it's worth going back.

Staff was nice and helpful, property is outdated with limited parking. You have to pay for room service and take your trash out to avoid fee. Water system needs updating.

When we arrived, the door would not open when we finally got it open, the hinges were loose I requested maintenance and there was no curtain on the window too bright one of the beds had dirt or some thing on it. We were lightly disappointed I had to stop in the main office twice before someone delivered Maintenance for the door and extra blankets and sheets and a curtain makeshift curtain. We’re also not pleased with the parking needing a blue Pat permit to park underneath the bill or it was it was a slight walk to parking lot, more than I wanted and 55 years old

Overall, we liked this condo. It was very clean, and we could walk to dinner. The front desk did end up honoring the four water park passes after I repeatedly pointed out that was included at the time of booking (The policy changed to two passes the day before I check in.). Some of the pictures were deceiving as it looked as if we would be on a higher floor with a better view of the harbor. Also, the description “steps to the beach” is a stretch as it’s two blocks. This wasn’t a problem for me and my teenagers, but older folks who have trouble walking longer distances or those with younger kids need to be aware. Things that would be helpful are: 1) darker curtains to block out the lights from outside, plus a curtain on the door to the balcony. 2) an a/c unit that can keep up with the heat outside. Maintenance tried to fix it, but it was 74 in the room at night. 3) instructions on how to work the tv’s with a channel guide (although they did have prime, netflix, and live tv). 4) there was a dustpan, but no broom. Again, once we worked out the kinks, everything was fine, although I would ensure a better view next time.

I was worried when I read the reviews however I loved it! It’s like Key west! If your not a Key west salt life kinda family then don’t complain or go! We got a 2 bedroom condo which gave us free tickets to water park. I read reviews and other people complained about having to pay? I was worried about the bed but ours we’re comfortable? The one review that was true the floors need cleaning…my kids feet were black. Disappointing because it was a perfect location and my boys were fishing caught snapper , gorgeous beach..and we had a blast!

Housekeepers walked into my room three times while me and my children were sleeping mind tou check out is at 11 but they came in three different times between 6and 7 and two more time after that between 7 and 930 it was very uncomfortable and when i brought it to the front desk they only apologize and then offered me a late check out there was also blood stains on the sheets and the pillow case as well as having the housekeepers standing outside my room talking and talking so then i had to just decided to pack my kids up and just leave cause there was sleeping when i went to the front desk i told them about the about the stains i had ask to be accommodated due to the housekeeping as well as the stains on the bed sheets they offered me only to take of the resort fee which was 35 bucks im sorry but this was just terrible the front desk staff was very nice but i do feel i should be refunded for this.

The staff were really lovely, and the water park was awesome. The rooms weren’t great, all seem to be connectable so it was very noisy even when we had quiet people in the room nevt door - we could even hear them opening their cereal packets in the morning. We had a smaller room as it was only myself and my son there was no natural light unless you were happy to open the blinds on the only window (which was next to the bed) and faced a busy open air corridor next to the elevators/stairs. Would definitely visit the area ans water park again but not sure that the hotel is worth the price.
