Our stay at Lythwood Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. The location is breathtaking, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations – from the immaculate cleanliness to the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms are elegantly designed, spotless, and equipped with everything you could need. Modern amenities such as complimentary access to Netflix, DSTV, YouTube, and more, along with efficient air conditioning and luxurious bathrooms, made our stay truly relaxing. Waking up to the gorgeous, tranquil views from our room was an unforgettable experience. The on-site restaurant deserves special mention – the food was absolutely top-notch, with each meal thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The staff’s attentiveness and hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. This is, without a doubt, one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with outstanding service, comfort, and breathtaking scenery!

Staff very friendly went out there way. Lodge clean and tidy. They have the best crunchies waiting in arrival. Rooms were cozy and spacious. Morning packed breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully to detail. Thank you very making the stay so memorable. Never disappointed.

Just a a big WOW to John ,Amanda and the rest of the staff.We were there to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary and was treated like royalty.What we booked for and we got was totally out of this world.The room,cleanliness, food and staff was exceptional. The best of our 41 years of going out experience was at Lythwood Lodge. Would recommend this Lodge to anyone, irrespective of age.Well done guys, a big thumbs up to our new family. Had an awful experience here. Aircons not functioning in the first cottage we booked, moved us to another one and had the same issue. Furthermore, one of the rooms had a bat flying around all night so we couldn’t use that room. The restaurant is an absolute disappointment. Restaurant was very untidy and outdated. Very limited menu with no steak options, no cocktails available, waitress had no knowledge of the menu whatsoever. The food is way over-priced and the quality is nowhere near par. Definitely not “award winning quality” The restaurant had no air conditioning and was infested with bugs. We could not eat at the restaurant because of this and opted for a takeaway. The food was over salted and not edible. Breakfast was abysmal, no alternate milks available after confirming there was and was told 20 mins later. Overall, a horrid experience. The only plus was the manicured gardens but that was it! Honestly feel like I was robbed because we could use the 1 bedroom at all. Between the bat and aircon leaking onto the floor and furthermore it was my wifes 44th birthday today and we were utterly disappointed.

My wife and I just got married at Lythwood Lodge, and what a fantastic experience we had. We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights, and the room we stayed in was simply amazing. All of our guests commented on how well furnished and comfortable the rooms were. The team at Lythwood Lodge was outstanding, with John and Skimbuso leading the way. All the staff members were friendly and very helpful. The food served was of an exceptional standard. We were both extremely impressed with the food, and we had a number of guests complement the food at the wedding. A final shout out to John, who really went above and beyond with helping us plan our wedding day and answering all the questions we had and was on hand to help us get through the weekend with ease. Our thanks to everyone at Lythwood Lodge for an amazing weekend, and one we will never forget! #lythwoodweddings

What an amazing place to stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, made us feel so at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Arrived back to a warm and cosy room every evening with beds turned down and electric blankets on. Can highly recommend a stay at this gem. Wouldnt stay anywhere else.
