"My stay at your hotel in August to celebrate my mother's birthday was largely fantastic and memorable! The Highlights (The Positive): I must start with a massive shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Alisa, the Duty Manager, for the incredible room upgrade to a suite! It was a wonderful surprise and truly elevated our celebration. Thank you, Alisa! ♥️ The birthday room setup was beautiful and very touching—it made my mother feel incredibly special. Furthermore, the room itself was spotlessly clean, and the overall stay was extremely pleasant. The dining experience was excellent . Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious. I highly, highly recommend the room service—it was absolutely delicious, and you won't regret ordering it! A special mention goes to Hanan, the Duty Manager, for her remarkable care and kindness. When I felt unwell, she immediately sent ginger tea to the room, and even offered it again on the day we checked out. This level of attention and genuine care is truly exceptional and not to be taken for granted. Thank you, Hanan! ♥️ The only negative point was an unpleasant incident following our last dinner. We were approached regarding payment for dinner before the staff checked their records to confirm it was paid. While a Duty Manager did apologize, the interaction was embarrassing and left us feeling uneasy and humiliated. In the future, it would be much better for the staff to confirm payment status internally before approaching a guest about that. We were told we needed to pay for the meal again, despite the fact that we had already paid the bill. This lack of verification before approaching us was highly uncomfortable and left us feeling humiliated. Although We received an apology, but the initial interaction was very poorly handled.why couldn't the payment status be verified by the hotel staff before approaching the guest?"

"First off, the location by the river is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town's scenic area. Secondly, the room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel service was also excellent. We arrived at 6:30 AM after a night flight, and the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast. All the staff were very warm and friendly, escorting us to our room. Although it's a decentralized management style, it's very quiet and feels extremely safe!"

"A wonderful apartment you'll want to return to! Everything is beautiful, new, and clean. Plenty of pots and pans, a stove, oven, kettle, water filter, and grill. Not enough plates and cups, and no dish towels. There's WiFi in the room, but it doesn't work on the balcony. This is inconvenient. We received a free room upgrade and were placed on the 6th floor with a balcony and a view of the Marina. The view is absolutely stunning! The balcony has a clothes dryer, comfortable lounge chairs, and a table. The bathroom has body lotion (both liquid and solid), shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The bottles say Cavalli. Nice! 😎😎❤️ There's a warning in the room about not soiling the towels and bed linens. Of course, we would never do that on purpose, but we were afraid to use them, especially the foot towel after the beach. The deposit is $300, and we really didn't want to lose it. We used our own towels, which is inconvenient. It would be great if the owner lifted such a strict policy. Maintenance is provided once every 7 days. Please note that you are not provided with consumables. You must purchase your own toilet paper and trash bags. The room includes a mop and vacuum cleaner, an iron, ironing board, and a hairdryer. There's a beautiful infinity pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as a spacious gym and sauna! It's free. Everything else is excellent! The lobby is always clean and smells pleasant, and there's a trash chute on each floor. Thank you! We'd love to come back!"

"Wonderful Stay with Great Facilities and Service – Some Areas for Improvement We had a very good experience during our stay at the hotel. The highlights of our visit were definitely the water park, lazy river, pools, and various family-friendly activities—they were all well-maintained and enjoyable for all ages. We especially loved the dinner buffet at Suan Bua Thai Restaurant. The spread was extensive with a great variety of delicious dishes. The buffet breakfast was equally satisfying with a wide selection of tasty options to choose from. The spa facilities and services were also excellent and added a nice touch of relaxation to our trip. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Despite having a confirmed room booking, our check-in was delayed and the room wasn’t ready until 5:30 PM, which was quite inconvenient. The hotel did try to make up for it by offering a late check-out by two hours, which we appreciated. Another aspect that could be enhanced is the ambience and interior design of the hotel rooms and restaurants. While clean and functional, the decor could use a refresh to better match the overall experience. One small suggestion: we couldn’t find a nice spot in the lobby or common areas to take a family picture with a good background or hotel name. Adding a dedicated photo wall or scenic corner would be a great idea for families and guests wanting to capture memories. Overall, a great stay with lots to enjoy, and we would consider returning again with hopes that a few improvements are made."

"I’ve stayed at Taj JLT multiple times, and I keep coming back not just for the beautiful rooms and views, but because of the service – truly unmatched compared to other hotels. Apoorva from the front office is consistently exceptional – warm, professional, and always goes above and beyond to make each stay smooth and pleasant. Shipajul and Kausar from housekeeping do an excellent job keeping the room immaculate and cozy, always with a friendly and respectful attitude. It was also great to see Janet at the spa again for the second time – she’s now my favorite masseuse. Her calming energy and skilled hands made both sessions incredibly relaxing and restorative. During this stay, there was a bit of renovation work going on, which caused some occasional noise, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I still truly enjoyed my stay – the warmth and quality of service at Taj JLT always win me over. Next week, looks like I will be there again!"

"The room itself is quite nice, and the facilities generally have a modern touch. However, be aware that there's a construction site right next door, and the view from some rooms can be really unpleasant (see picture). The pool area feels a bit neglected - somewhat dirty, with no proper pool towels provided, only bathrobes. While the view from the pool could be lovely, the glass panels are in need of a serious clean. The shuttle service only offers drop-off, and the carpet in the corridors looks pretty worn and dirty, which adds to an overall uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s not the most pleasant place to stay."

There's a tall building under construction right in front of the hotel, and I anticipate the sea view will be completely blocked once it's finished."

The hotel is clean, modern, and conveniently located close to the airport, making it ideal for short stays or layovers. The staff were friendly, and check-in was quick. The breakfast had a nice variety of options and was enjoyable. However, the room lacked some basic amenities like body lotion and conditioner, which would have made the stay more pleasant. Despite that, it’s a good value-for-money hotel and a reliable choice for travelers needing a convenient stay near Dubai Airport."
