"Excellent and prompt service. Restaurant serves simple but delicious breakfast. We had dinner here twice. Dinner dishes are delicious too, especially passion fruit pork rib. Lovely view from full length windows. Room is very new, clean and spacious."

"Was not expecting that the accommodation is surrounded by construction sites. The room was relatively clean although stain was found on the bath towel on our first night of stay. Breakfast was ok, would prefer more freshly made items than the likely frozen pre-made items such as buns and dumplings. Was great that bikes and mahjong room were complementary and available for guests use. We liked the rooftop views from the pool and the usage of the rooftop function room. "

"Honestly the most beautiful and the best hotel experience I’ve had in China! The hotel is situated in the gorgeous Mingshi village and our stay at Mingshi Yaju gave us complimentary access to the paid scenic area. The hotel is also conveniently 30 minutes from the main attraction - Detian Waterfall. Our stay included delicious breakfast, daily fruits and desserts, complimentary bamboo raft and cycling experience. They also have gym, pool and shuttle amenities. The staff there were extremely friendly and helpful! Sincerely want to thank Miss Zhou (周小姐）for making our stay so amazing. Highly recommend staying here!"

Special recognition must go to the service staff—凌海艳、农汶燕、邓桂姣—whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism elevated every meal. Their service was genuinely memorable. On our first evening, Chef Long (龙大厨) personally came out to greet us, which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch. One dish in particular stood out: the handmade tofu pot. Using such a simple ingredient, the dish was surprisingly delicate, tender, and deeply flavorful—an excellent example of how great technique can transform humble ingredients into something exceptional. The spa and relaxation experience was equally seamless. 农丽芳, from the spa service team near the common relaxation area, thoughtfully arranged a battery car service for us, making transitions around the resort smooth and effortless. Overall, the LUX Chongzuo Resort delivers excellence on every level—accommodation, views, cuisine, service, and amenities. It is not just a place to stay, but a destination in itself. If you are seeking the best Chongzuo has to offer, LUX is truly in a class of its own."
