"I had a great time staying at tropical resort , the staff were friendly and helpful . The location is great as you can walk to the beach easily and various nice restaurants around the area . The pool added to the charm of the hotel and I enjoyed my stay . Only issue was there are no sockets near the bed but if you want to completely shut off for the night that is a plus !"

"Kids Loved It – Great Family Hotel Experience We stayed at the hotel in a Family Deluxe Suite for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was an amazing experience. The room was spacious and very comfortable for a family with three kids. The hotel is located near the beach and has fantastic swimming pools. There are many activities for kids, especially at the kids’ club, which kept them entertained throughout the stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of food choices, and the highlight was the nasi lemak with sambal tumis kerang, which was delicious. We also had dinner at the dining café while enjoying live music, which created a great atmosphere. One of the best features was the waterproof key “watch,” which was very convenient compared to a normal room key. I managed to try out their malay massage at suasana spa and it was very relaxing, I really enjoyed it so much and they even have a pedicure manicure spa for the kids. Overall, it was a wonderful family-friendly hotel and we truly enjoyed our stay."

"The location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall. Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process. A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement. The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing. Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception. The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away."

"The service by the staff is very good and friendly.. Got a room with a musty smell, walls leaking rainwater until the bed frame and cabinet swelled..sandy floor with cement..water heater not working. asked to change the room but couldn't. but I asked for complimentary breakfast for 2 children because he can't change rooms. The pool is the best for boys, but the pool for boys is quite dirty and there are many mosaics on the floor that are torn off. It is dangerous for boys. Kids club is not taken care of..all the equipment is broken..leaking until there is standing water on the floor. Overall disappointed with the resort facilities."

"The place is very excellent in terms of privacy, especially since it has number 8, but there is no landline to communicate with the hotel staff. You can only communicate on the phone number, but everything in the hotel from reception and service is private 👏🏻"

"This is an established five-star hotel with a beautiful and pleasant environment, especially the thriving ecosystem. Several monkey troops often visit the balconies, and you can hear squirrels 🐿️, large lizards 🦎, and various birds singing in the trees. The hotel's breakfast is also incredibly rich, offering Western dishes, Malaysian specialties, fruits, cheese 🧀, various freshly squeezed juices 🍹, and champagne 🍾. It's only about 800-900 meters from Kuah Jetty ⛵️, making it super convenient for transfers to Koh Lipe, Thailand 🇹🇭."

"Where do I even begin. From a warm WhatsApp message enquiring on my flight details before I even flew to Langkawi, from not being picky of early check in or a request for a specific breakfast granted. I’m an avid and solo traveller. So I do know what I am talking about. While many hotels are relatively picky on check in time I was welcome with such warmth and hospitality when I arrived at 1.30pm, I just simply asked may I check in and without a second thought with big smiles they said our course and your room is ready. That was a first for me. The feeling of kampong hospitality resonated for me offering me a house setting with such cleanliness, aircon was already on to receive my comfort. The splendid view where morning sunrise was the main highlight of the entire trip. Nestled in a village high up on a hill one could feel like a Sultan overseeing the majestic landscape. The quietness the staff knowing when you need space and when you need their care spoke a lot to me. Thank you Bukit Resort Langkawi you made me feel like family."

"Such great attitude from the moment you enter until check out. I loved this hotel and actually wish I had come back to spend the rest of my trip here, I am not much of a nature girl, but I needed to relax, so it was pleasant to stay somewhere where gekos can’t get into your room. The room was spacious and elegant, loved the Jo Malone products they smelled good. The bath and shower was clean and this a rare thing to find in Malaysia, I felt so comfortable staying here. The bed soft for a good nights rest after laying in the heat by the pool. I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining about the location, but it was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of towns. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the music played by the pianist. I also enjoyed the little treats brought pool side for us to enjoy. I read a lot of books and had a lazy time, all the staff was lovely and pleasant. The only downside is that the pool closes at 7 pm, the weather is still hot into the night and a night swim is perfect. The beach is good to swim and perfect sunset pics can be taken on the white sandy beach. It was a lovely stay, thank you for welcoming me as a solo traveler a safe and comfortable resting place."
