Also, access to the house is up a steep driveway, but the magnificent view makes up for it!Neighbourhood DescriptionThe shack overlooks Little Roaring Beach, with Bruny Island in the distance, and is a 5-minute drive to the picturesque village of Dover. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Huon Valley and a host of walking tracks to lakes, lagoons, waterfalls and mountains. You can also head underground at Hastings Cave and bathe in thermal springs. Some of our favourite nearby spots to visit are: Hartz Mountain National Park, Tahune Air Walk and Cockle Creek.Getting aroundThe shack is located a little over an hour from Hobart, in the remote Roaring Bay. There is no public transport available, so you will need a car to get around. We have plenty of parking on site. Please note that access to the property is up a steep driveway.
