"Was not expecting that the accommodation is surrounded by construction sites. The room was relatively clean although stain was found on the bath towel on our first night of stay. Breakfast was ok, would prefer more freshly made items than the likely frozen pre-made items such as buns and dumplings. Was great that bikes and mahjong room were complementary and available for guests use. We liked the rooftop views from the pool and the usage of the rooftop function room. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Changliu Mountain Resort Hotel. I originally booked the Mo Yun Xuan double room, but to my surprise, I was upgraded to an even better room — complete with an outdoor bath. This instantly elevated the whole experience. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by mountain air was incredibly relaxing and felt like a private onsen moment right at my doorstep.
The resort itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. Breakfast was good, the little add-on experiences (like warm sweet soup, welcome fruits, and photography activities) made the stay feel thoughtful and unique. Staff were polite and helpful, and the entire environment was perfect for slowing down and disconnecting from city stress.
If you’re looking for a quiet escape with nature, a comfortable stay, and a little luxury with an outdoor bath, Changliu Mountain Resort is definitely worth it."

"We really enjoyed our stay there! The hotel is clean and just few minutes walking from the waterfall. Many thanks to the woman at the reception. She was so attentive and caring! She helped me with the heavy luggage all the time! Also she helped us to buy day tickets to the waterfall and tickets to the night show. Both were fantastic! We asked her to help us to get back to Nanning. And she explained us everything in details- how to get to the bus stop and find the driver there. She actually contacted the driver and sent us the picture of the bus, so it was easier for us to find him. As we’re foreigners in China some simple things are complicating for us. Thanks to Lin all those matters were easy for us! ❤️❤️❤️"

"The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there.
The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady.

KLimTo put things in perspective, accomodation in the area is quite expensive, so this accomodation is rather value for money. The 鱼鳞坝, one of the sights is just a stone's throw away which make it very convenient. Breakfast is super simple. Room is clean and AI enabled. Reception is very polite, even coming out to help get our luggage from the cab and show us to our room. Oh, be prepared to wake early by roosters if u are a light sleeper and maybe some mozzies in the room. It is the countryside no matter what.

Pengguna TetamuThe best thing about this place are the owners. Full of initiative and kindness, I am very appreciative of their initiative services.
For example, they asked if I already had transportation for my next destination, then how much I was quoted. Then they said that was a fair price if it was right to the hotel, to just check and verify if it is so. This is a very helpful guidance for out-of-towners.
The room is clean, and after 4 days of travel in the area, it is the only one that doesn't have any lingering smells of cigarette smoke. It is hard to find rooms like these, including rooms that claim to be smoke-free.
The view from the room is great and it is nice to watch the birds fly over the border river. Birds are not constrained by fences.
Bottles of water are provided, as are disposable towels, which I'm not a fan of, as well as soap, shampoo and so on. There is no separation of wet/dry areas, but slippers are provided.
You may not get the best photos in such a homestay, but it is functional and practical, and everything works well, drainage and so on, which is more important. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

EatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

He kindly dropped me off and picked me up at the Detian Waterfall tourist center, and then spent a considerable amount of time helping me book a driver out to the Vietnamese border the following day.

Sebuah hotel yang sangat selesa, bersih dan kemas, dengan bilik-bilik yang luas. Perkhidmatan kaunter penerimaan tetamu sangat prihatin. 酒店就在魚鱗壩旁邊，位置很好，過去衹用一兩分鐘，窗外景色也很不錯。如果是自駕比較方便，因為我們不是自駕，去遊客中心坐車吃飯很不方便，原本老闆説可以免費送，第二天早上阿姨找我們要收費5-15塊錢才送到遊客中心坐車。附近也沒有什麼餐館，房間床單上有洗不掉的污漬，枕頭也有點臭，隔音一般
