"Here’s a revised version of the review with that detail smoothly added: ⸻ Xingye Snow Mountain Manor – Comfortable Stay with Hot Springs, but Snow-Dependent Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is located about a 30–40 minute drive from Xiling Snow Mountain. We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical."

"Clean and comfortable room with very good beds, warm quilts and a choice of pillows. The hot springs were great and the service staff excellent. There are more than one hot spring pools. Breakfast was very good with a very large selection of foods. The standard was very high. The only thing which we felt wasn’t great was the noise of children screaming all over the resort and the incessant fireworks until around 10pm. That is not the hotel’s fault, but their guests. I’m not sure what could be done to improve this, as it affects all guests. I would stay here again though, for sure. The proximity to Xiling Snow Mountain (20 minutes by car), the comfortable bed and the excellent breakfast are all a big plus!"

"Excellent location to visit main attractions. Local eateries all within walking distance. Staff was efficient and polite. Room was clean and spacious. View from balcony as pictured. There were birds chirping on the trees right outside the balcony. Breakfast was plentiful. The door to my balcony could not be locked. Rang reception. Receptionist immediately came to have a look. Within 10 minutes, the engineer came to repair. Thank you. The guards at the gates were helpful in providing directions. Easy to take Didi to Chengdu. Around RMB 140. It was a comfortable pleasant stay."

"A beautiful, majestic escape from the bustling city. Delicious food options at each of the 3 restaurants. The room was amazing. Gorgeous view in the morning. We selected a fragrance on arrival and all the bathroom amenities matched our chosen fragrance. The staff were delightful, especially Albert. He was attentive, professional and served us impeccably. Only problem was our stay was too short. Other than that, perfection."

Walau bagaimanapun, perkhidmatan boleh menjadi agak perlahan pada waktu puncak, seperti menunggu lama untuk daftar masuk. Kebersihan keseluruhan restoran pada waktu puncak makan juga mengecewakan. Barangan sarapan adalah terhad dan hilang dengan cepat, membuatkan anda berasa seperti perlu berebut untuk mendapatkannya. Selain itu, restoran berdekatan tutup awal, jadi anda perlu membawa sesuatu untuk dimakan pada waktu petang, terutamanya selepas sesi ski malam."

"We had an amazing stay at the homestay. Rooms are so beautiful, bed is comfy (with heating!!), everything is clean and organised. They offer free additional activities like nature workshops, concerts in the evening and ofcourse the hotsprings. I couldn’t ask for a better place for a relaxing getaway before or after heading to the Snow Mountain."

"帶爸媽過來小住了三天，長者家就喜歡這種山清水秀的地方，負氧離子高，走路逛着也不喘。温度太舒服了，白天不用開空調，晚上睡覺還要蓋薄被子。飯菜都是清淡適口的本地口味，菜都是現摘的新鮮得很，爸媽每頓都吃得香。温泉池不深，長者泡着也安全，工作人員看到我們扶着長者還主動過來搭把手，服務真的貼心，爸媽已經約了老夥計下個月還要來住一週。"

"The resort is located at the hot spring location, but a bit far from the central area..... good for relaxation. The initial rooms we got wasn't the one we booked, looks old and dirty. We showed them the pictures from trip.com the rooms we book and looks different and old to the reception and the lady gave us the upgraded rooms. You have to ask and insist, else they will just give you which ever room available (not the ones you booked)."
