"The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to visit the Great Wall. Chow his mother and his family and staff go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay. We had only 2 nights and woke up early for sunrise to club the wall and a chow helped us arrange everything. Tis section of the wall is with very few people, and truly magnificent seeing the sun rise. Absolutely loved it.
I was a single um travelling with my 2 children and the room was spacious, clean and the food was beyond tasty. They got me a little cake as it was my birthday and it was incredibly thoughtful and a lovely gesture. Thank you Chiw"

"Location: this is a one-minute walk from the Middle Gate / entrance to the Jinshanling Great Wall (the best location for an early start as the gate opens as early as 4-5am) and has great value for money compared to other farmstays or hotels with this proximity to the entrance.
Cleaniness: spacious and clean room with all the necessary amenities, though most are single-use so bring your own if you would like to be environmentally-conscious. The bathroom also had only a half-door so there was a chance that water from the showerhead may spill out a bit.
Service: the host was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ms. Li is able to tell you about the best hiking paths, hiking time, and ways to get around / get back. She can also help you arrnage transport to nearby Gubei Watertown or tell you how to get back to city centre Beijing if you ask. As all farmstays do they have their own restaurant that can cook just about any typical home-cooked meals (and they are flexible with portions and pricing, depending on the size of your group). There is a small shop area at reception if you need some last-minute supplies for the Great Wall (food and drinks mostly).
100% recommended for those who wish to get an early start to the Great Wall with a decent night's sleep and some comfort meals."

"We had an amazing stay at Qingfeng Inn (Jinshanling Great Wall). Communication with the owner was excellent from the very beginning; she was incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely caring. When trains to Gubeikou were unavailable, she went above and beyond to help us arrange alternative transport, which saved our trip.For a very reasonable price, we received a wonderful, spacious room and a delicious breakfast. The hospitality was unmatched—they even picked us up at dusk and provided a transfer straight to the Great Wall before sunrise.I also highly recommend ordering meals at their family-run restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and very affordable.Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and care. It was a truly unforgettable experience!"

"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

"去年開業就加入草單 今年終於來住啦 路上看到大片的綠色心情就好起來 整個園區的紅磚色調立時讓人心靜下來
整個酒店都很有質感 從大堂到二樓公區到房間 色調和家居都很喜歡 有種時光的厚重感
露台對着大草坪抬首就是滿眼綠 喜歡 在房間裏呆著就很舒服 室外是明亮的綠色 室內是沉靜的棕色 就是很好休息 晚上暖黃的燈光温和而不扎眼 床頭貼心放了書配了閲讀燈 翻兩頁就很好睡
酒店的服務也很好 入住前就添加聯繫方式提前告知位置停車等注意事項 入住期間溝通響應很迅速 遇到維修停水小插曲也提供了真誠而實用的方案 真真是賓至如歸 工作人員都很好 接待入住的男生尤其好 走之前想問下名字店名感謝説不用了哈哈 比超大的心

"I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm.
But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable.
The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He
eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station.
They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”"

If you are into photography, even better as they will provide all the best advice, including getting a double-entry ticket so that you can go for sunrise and sunset shoot. The place is literally just outside the gate!!

Pengguna Tetamu很滿意，主要就是離景區近。晚上吃過晚飯從北京租車開到金山嶺長城腳下住一晚，省了停車和一家人的擺渡車費，房間還很便宜，還要什麼自行車。第二天一早爬長城，人都沒有。9點半出來時候遊客慢慢有一些了。老闆人也很好，我們想買瓶水直接送了一瓶。

Pengguna TetamuWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

It's 5 min by car to the great wall entrance so it's pretty convenient. It's hard to find because the outside picture are from their restaurant too and it's not the same place 😅
Also, we saw in the comments that the owner gave free ride to the main entrance but it was not for us. In the beginning he dropped us at the entrance and even picked up when we were done but without telling he will charge us for that later (and more than with other taxi). So ask him before if it's free and you will not be disappointed.
The room is clean but the shower leaks and it's very cold at night.

酒店獨佔一個大園區，以運動為主題，設計了標準的籃球場，足球場等運動場地，還有棋牌室，****遊戲室等設施供遊客使用
一樓有自行車可以園區內使用，捷安特，非常好用，這點非常棒，確實因地制宜，適合本店
一點細節和待改進之處：中央空調操作不太順暢，附上使用説明；沒有洗髮水沐浴露洗手液，補上；洗漱杯太小巧，不太實用，應該調整；沒有存放衣服空間，需要衣架，陽台很漂亮，可以考慮安排晾衣架；燈具控制系統太簡單，書桌處應單獨控制；缺少應急照明和消防逃生物品，配上手電和放毒面具

KnufbergstravelThe owner is friendly. The cleaning should be improved... we had more than a small amont of old hair in the sink and bathroom. Even for a cheap room like this that's not acceptable. No tea bags, no water.
The room is exactly what it looks like on the photos. Not bad at all. A little thin-walled but okay. The aircon is old but does its job.

Host was super friendly and very hospitable. Started off by waiting for us outside the homestay awaiting our arrival @ 12 am at night. Drove us to and from Jinshanling. Also drove us out to beijing for another hour. Very knowledgeable and shared with us the history of the Great Wall too. Would definitely come back here on my next visit. Thank you! 😁

The room was simple but clean.
It didn’t face the outside but the dinner veranda area, so if you are every sensible to noise while sleeping not ideal. I slept super good no issues.
The owner/ manager was nice and welcoming.
Food is ok, a bit oily but good.
Amenities where a bit scarse, no towel, only a reusable one which is not enough for a shower.
Overall is a good price for location hotel.
