"this was an amazing find !! we got a free upgrade during our stay to a beautiful room that overlooked the great wall, only something i could imagine in dreams😊 highly recommend, they also serve home cooked food downstairs which was so delicious! and a very good price compared to those nearby, as it is very remote this was a very peaceful stay, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, thank you 🙏"

"The boss, who speaks good english, picked me up from the Gubeikou station, we stopped to buy some snacks and water and then he took me to the start of Panlongshan trail. He told me directions to get to Jinshanling. Pretty straightforward, hard to go wrong, just follow the spraypaint and ribbons. After sunset I texted him and he picked me up at Jinshanling. Very delicious home cooked dishes, both dinner and breakfast, huge portions, cold beer!  The room was big, comfy and modern, great mattress and bedding. The bathroom was big and modern with different controls for a nice shower.  In the morning (4am) the boss arranged local transport to get to and from Jinshanling for sunrise. Don't miss it, the sun rising over an empty wall; hardly anyone around. The hotel is  just a 5 minutes drive from the ticket station. I wish i could give more stars. Great memories! The combination of Panlongshan and Jinshanling is like a 100 times better then Badaling. Very easy to organise with the train and overnight stay. And this is the best hotel to do it."

"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round! Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing. They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice. One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so! Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us. Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes). All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon! 特别喜欢这里的服务，在这里住的很舒服也非常开心。好美的地方和人，令我都马上想在订下一趟旅程来这里了！好可惜我们只住了一晚因为我们本来只是想爬金山岭，如果能待多几天那该多好。。简直完美! ❤️"

"Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. "I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”"

"從內蒙旅遊回來路過離金山嶺長城比較近。開始打算停留一晚發現硬件服務都不錯，又續住了一晚。酒店很大房間也都不錯。一旦運作過程，有一點希望能提高就是房門的關門聲音非常大。其實隔音做的都不錯，但是唯獨這個門，離得很遠的房門關上都會有非常大的聲音。"

"The location is very close to the ticketing office. If you want to visit for sunrise, just tell the staff you need the “two-entry” ticket — it’s the same price. The hike is easy. We went up from 后川口 and came down via 砖垛口 after enjoying the sunset at 西五眼楼. The cable car isn’t necessary. The room was spacious and clean, and the owner was very welcoming and friendly!"

去年開業就加入草單 今年終於來住啦 路上看到大片的綠色心情就好起來 整個園區的紅磚色調立時讓人心靜下來 整個酒店都很有質感 從大堂到二樓公區到房間 色調和家居都很喜歡 有種時光的厚重感 露台對着大草坪抬首就是滿眼綠 喜歡 在房間裏呆著就很舒服 室外是明亮的綠色 室內是沉靜的棕色 就是很好休息 晚上暖黃的燈光温和而不扎眼 床頭貼心放了書配了閲讀燈 翻兩頁就很好睡 酒店的服務也很好 入住前就添加聯繫方式提前告知位置停車等注意事項 入住期間溝通響應很迅速 遇到維修停水小插曲也提供了真誠而實用的方案 真真是賓至如歸 工作人員都很好 接待入住的男生尤其好 走之前想問下名字店名感謝説不用了哈哈 比超大的心 配套也很好 送的早飯可以有不同選擇 第一食堂很方便 he burger很好吃 正餐最喜歡拾味山谷和曉麥穗 公湯人也不多很靜謐舒適 山林訪古線和角樓登高線風景都很好 a nice day的阿狗超可愛 喜歡來了阿那亞就不用操心其他的感覺 很適合2-3天放鬆一下~

The location of the guest house is just perfect,only 10 minutes walk from the mid entrance of the great wall. From there you can explore the Wall walking east and it’s the best,very few people. But the best thing about the accomodation is the sweet family managing it! The food is just delicious,with huge portions and big choice! The lady also gave me a big help to find a good taxi to go back to Gobeikou. Especially when you travel solo it’ is really nice to see such big smiles and help! I can only recommend it!

It's 5 min by car to the great wall entrance so it's pretty convenient. It's hard to find because the outside picture are from their restaurant too and it's not the same place 😅 Also, we saw in the comments that the owner gave free ride to the main entrance but it was not for us. In the beginning he dropped us at the entrance and even picked up when we were done but without telling he will charge us for that later (and more than with other taxi). So ask him before if it's free and you will not be disappointed. The room is clean but the shower leaks and it's very cold at night.

衞生還行吧，農家院也不可能要求太高，床單毛巾能保證換就行了，重點在於位置好，就在檢票口附近，不用坐擺渡車，凌晨四五點就能進山，一天能爬早晚兩次長城，中午還能睡個午覺。店裡都能煮飯煮菜，口味也不錯。，方便，老闆熱情 所以國慶爬長城一個人沒有你受得了嗎？哈哈哈
