Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

The room environment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen for cooking. Check-in was convenient, and I most enjoyed the scenery in the surrounding area, which felt like a world unto itself. It allowed us to spend an unforgettable day in Iceland.

First stayed in the ”villas” 4 years ago and came back this time to stay at the new part, which we felt was even better, especially for Families.

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! The room looks quite dark and aged. Some essential things were lacking like kettle. There was only one small table and chair in the family room we stayed in so we had to ear/drink in the beds. Location is good and right next to the waterfall. Cleanliness is acceptable.

Nice accommodation in a farm with 🐏 outside your windows. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. They provided a washing machine and a dryer too. Thank you for making our stay comfortable

Las cabañas están muy bien Como punto negativo veo la manera de hacer el check in. Tienes que llamar a un número de teléfono y que te digan el número de cabaña y la contraseña de entrada Quitando eso, el sitio la verdad es que está genial!

非常有特色嘅旅店，好有復古味道，自助早餐都幾好味。 出邊嗰個熱水池，對住個景非常靚 但係check-in嘅問題，大家要注意，不是咁簡單
