"Mitsui Garden Kanazawa exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely central! easy walking distance to the Omicho Market, Kenrokuen Garden, and the castle. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great mix of Japanese and Western dishes, including fresh seafood and local specialties. What really stood out, though, was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, they made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kanazawa!"

"The amenities were superb, we got free coffee and skin care every day. The room was also enough for three people with three 26 inch luggages. Definitely will comeback again next time! (Sorry the room is messy in the pict)"

"This place is just a 5-6 minute walk to Kanazawa jr station and the bus terminal. The location is fantastic. There is all the amenities you need like coin laundry, and ice machine. The staff are wonderful and helped me to correctly fill out the forms to mail a package to my teacher staying in japan. This is my second stay with the hotel franchise in kanazawa- i stayed in their other hotel more in the town centre previously. They both smelled amazing. I don’t know what they use, but they have a specific scent that they make for their hotels. Apparently Kanazawa also has a tradition of incense and so they’ve incorporated a signature scent based on it. I wish I could buy it tbh- so Koko staff- if you see this, please make it an item you sell! The rooms are a good size, for Japan, and the bathtub in the room is MASSIVE. Sadly I dont have photos as I forgot to take them. They have a lovely outdoor on the top floor as well, where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view which i do have photos of."

"Very good location for being close to the train station, although it's about a 35-40 minute walk to places of interest. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and a more complete supermarket and restaurants at the station. The rooms are huge for Japan, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is standard for the country. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and a very nice reading room. They do not clean the rooms until after the fourth night. They are not flexible with check-in; for example, after our 4-night reservation, we rebooked another 4 nights, but they made us wait 4 hours between checking out of the first room and checking into the second room. I think they could have paid more attention to us, since we had booked with them again and on a regular basis, but they paid no attention at all."

"The staff was very nice, very helpful and good English, spacious room, clean and great amenities, near Kanazawa Castle, traditional Omachi market, very close to Kanazawa Station (walking around 20-30 minutes)(public transport starting operation 7 30 in the morning) and near to public bath house (Onsen), will return to stay next time"

"We stayed at Soki Hotel in Kanazawa for a family trip and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and we especially loved the large windows, which made the room feel bright and spacious. We felt very comfortable and truly enjoyed our time here. The location is perfect🤍Omicho Market is literally across the street, only about a 30-second walk away. It was so convenient. Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, and Higashi Chaya District are all easily accessible, and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to get around the city. Kanazawa Station is also not far away. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kanazawa. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"for this room, they added a bed for the third person which made the room super compacted and we barely had room to put our stuff/walk. Staff is nice but a bit overwhelmed due to the holiday season. It's very nicely renovated and fantastic but not really worth the price considering all the other hotels around the area. Also no amenities:("

"Great location as near Omicho market. Parking is on another street, at the back hence not so convenient as the front of the hotel cannot load/unload. Troublesome if raining for family. No smoking room in hotel, need to find nearest kombini for smokers. Cleanliness is good. Spacious for luggages to open in room. Simple and fuss-free."

"Lovely place. Value for money. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. Location is 8 minutes walk from the train station but you’ll have to use the underpass if you’re bringing a large luggage. Plenty of restaurants at the train station and the bus loop also starts there so very convenient. Only bad note of that there is nothing much other than a 7 Eleven in its immediate surroundings"

Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff.  Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me.  They really make you feel very comfortable and safe.  Great location to visit Kenrokuen!

Welcomed by very friendly staff. Luggage Train were all organised in room after check in. Provided with options on room cleaning services. Free sake tasting, and tea in the evening is a plus. Good onsen areas. They even help me with my Yukata. Gifted us some free postcards, and also had a little birthday surprise gift in the room. Great location too.

A great value for money stay in Kanazawa that is just about 5 minutes from Omicho Market and its bus stops that can take you to all the major spots in Kanazawa. A cozy comfortable stay which I will definitely highly consider staying again if I get the chance to go back to Kanazawa. Service was of high standard and the free coffee machine at the lobby was a great plus. Highly recommended!

Hotel ini menawarkan nilai yang sangat baik untuk wang dan terletak dengan sangat strategik betul-betul di sebelah Stesen Kanazawa. Mudah untuk menerokai bandar atau menaiki bas jarak jauh. Walaupun hotel ini agak lama, ia telah diubah suai; satu-satunya isu ialah bilik mandi, yang belum diubah suai, tetapi ia bersih. Kakitangan hotel sangat profesional dan penuh perhatian, yang sangat baik. Sarapan pagi juga sedap.

The location is great it’s easy to walk to any places. The bed is comfortable, but the arrangement of the room is quite crammed so it’s hard to open the suitcase and walk around without being tripped. The hotel staff is friendly but they don’t seem to be able to resolve any issues. For example, the corridor outside our room has a strong bbq smell, and it’s even passing into our room. I called the front desk, they only shrugged and said that it’s because of the bbq store next to the building and the ventilation system so there’s nothing they can do. I mean… I know there’s nothing you can do, but you can at least apologize and try to do some amendments. Oh well. Also, refrain from using the public bath here. This hotel accommodate big tourism group. Most of the tourists do not know the etiquette of bathing in Japan. Some people don’t wash themselves before going into the bath so the water is quite dirty and you might get sprayed on when walking past people showering. It’s overall an uncomfortable experience.

This hotel located exactly beside JR Kanazawa Sta. So if you want to go to Shirakawago by bus ( of course u have to reserved before ) it is easy to reach the bus station behind Kanazawa Sta. I choose this hotel also because I used Hokuriku pass which is passed by Kanazawa Sta. The room is like other 3 star hotel in Japan, not too big but enough if you bring top loading luggage.

I booked a double bed room, but they gave me a two beds room which they can allow me to pay extra to upgrade another room type if I want to have a double bed for three days, the staff is nice, just the arrangement is not so great experience, but the location is great, right next to the train station

Despite the reasonable price point, there was no compromise on basic cleanliness and comfort. Given the recent earthquake that affected the region, visiting Kanazawa now is more meaningful than ever. We originally got a room that was smoky probably due to previous guests but the housekeeping did not do a good job of getting rid of the smokiness (take note the hotel is supposed to be non smoking I think). We called the reception who proceeds to change our room to another floor and they made sure this time there's no ciggarette smell. That wasted a bit of our time but a good gesture to change our room. House keeping needs to make sure to check room properly especially for those with families. Son had a bit of a coughing fit when he entered the room due to the smoke. Location was strategic and they provide free parking in the mall parking.
