"First time to visit a resort and beach in Batangas, and I must say that Altamare exceeded my expectations. I love the activities you can do, though it is limited, but still worth it. The vibe of being so peaceful and calm, since it is away from the noise, is the best thing of this resort. The services and foods are very good. You just need to be prepared of the stairs, it is very challenging! Overall it was really really good experience."

Your employees are not only the epitome of professionalism but are also incredibly kind and thoughtful. A special thank you to Ms. Cess for always accommodating me so warmly—your dedication is a huge part of why the service here is so exceptional. I also have to mention the dining—the food is consistently on cue and sobrang sarap! I’m already looking forward to my next breakfast there. While the pool area remains the ultimate stress reliever for me, I have two small suggestions: it would be amazing to have a jacuzzi installed in the future, and perhaps a more discreet entrance/exit to the pool area, as walking through the restaurant to get there can feel a bit awkward! Overall, this remains the best hotel experience I’ve had so far. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so memorable. I will definitely be back soon and will continue to recommend you to all my friends and family!"

"Ponter Fino hotel is my favorite hotel for staycation. However, during my stay on Jan 1, 2026, they checked me in so late. Later than 430pm. The reason was there were still guests in the suite room assigned to for late checkout which I think was unreasonable. They coudn't even find alternative room for me. Worst case, they promised to deliver my luggages (although they said attendants were busy which I understand) However, it took unresonably long enough knowing there are attendant / staff who seemed to be free and just volunteered to deliver them only when they saw me carrying the trolley. So I refused to let them carry my stuff and pushed them all by myself from the lobby to my room located at 2nd floor so still need to carry all of them upstairs (back and forth). They offered late yes but out of ego, disappointment, and dissatisfaction, I told them don't help me and I'll do ot myself."

"Has bidet, good wifi. Great view of taal. Spacious environment. Hospitality staff is attentive. Facilities are old, restaurant food isn’t good (thankfully place is accessible to main Tagaytay road). "The place is clean and easily accessible. However, the ist room that was given to us was facing the highway and with this it was very noisy at night. You can hear motorcycle, trucks and buses and it made sleeping very hard for us. The good thing was the staff were very helpful and transferred us to a nice and quiet room."

"Such a good stay! the place is clean, the staff are super nice, and the rooms had complete toiletries and fresh towels. Food was solid & the Italian resto by the beach had really chill vibes + + the manager was cool too. The pools were clean, thankfully they were warm, which helped a lot since it was raining when we arrived. Overall, we were super satisfied with our stay. Totally worth what we paid for. "Overall, our stay at Club Balai Isabel was enjoyable, especially because of the beautiful lakefront view. We booked a lakefront room, and waking up to Taal Volcano right in front of our door was definitely the highlight of our trip. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The room seems quite old, and the floor was very dusty. Even after housekeeping cleaned it, the dust was still noticeable. Whenever our feet got wet, they would immediately become dirty from walking on the floor. The bathroom also had an unpleasant odor. I’m not sure if it’s because the property is close to the lake, but the smell was noticeable throughout our stay. The internet connection was also weak. We had to call the front desk to report the poor signal before it improved. The swimming pools were fun, and our daughter had the best time, which made the trip worthwhile. However, after swimming, we all experienced itchiness. We stayed on a Saturday when the resort was quite crowded, so perhaps the pools need to be cleaned or monitored more frequently during busy days. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay because of the stunning scenery and the family-friendly atmosphere. With better housekeeping, improved bathroom maintenance, stronger Wi-Fi, and more frequent pool maintenance, the experience would be much better."

We recently stayed at Family villa 1 and was thoroughly impressed with everything—from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials (and more!). I especially appreciated the attention to detail—the comfy bed, free use of karaoke. The hotel’s location is perfect. Overall, exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

The place is still on point because it is accessible to malls, churches and even restaurants. The only thing I didn’t like was their service. When I enter for the very first time, there are staff who will greet you warmly. It is my second time here but this time with my family. If I can remember correctly, there are 3 or 4 staff at the lobby that day. No one opens the door for us. I have a companion who is a senior citizen. We are 7 in total and carrying out bags. They didn’t offer the trolley if we needed it. But I shrugged it off. We stayed overnight here because we have a relative came from Laguna and we just wanted to checked in. There were no bath towels and the bottled water. I asked very politely for those 2 things. I even told the receptionist they can leave it there at our rooms since have some golfing and bowling to do. But to my surprise when we returned to the hotel, I checked my request was not delivered. I called for the second time and asked for it. Still not yet given. When I checked the time, it was 2300hrs no bath towels and even bottled water. I called again for the third time and the receptionist asked “what is it again Mam that you want?” It’s like all this time you didn’t know what I requested. Then I hung up the phone. I might not come back here again if their service will continue like this and definitely not gonna recommend Solano to my relatives and friends if their service will go on like that.

Coral Beach Club is a thoroughly pleasant beach resort, run by friendly and attentive staff, is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, is secure, and boasts a wonderful atmosphere. The food is served to a very high standard and is of a very reasonable price for a hotel. There is a comprehensive drinks menu, and the bar-side billiards table is a welcome addition. The room was very spacious and clean. Air conditioning helped to keep the room nice and cool and the bed was very comfortable. The resort owners take the time to personally introduce themselves and speak to guests, which further adds to the friendliness of the hotel. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Coral Beach Club and I highly recommend the location for anyone visiting Batangas and wishing to enjoy a quiet, seaside getaway.

1N2D Stay for Couple - July 2025 Loved everything and will absolutely book again. Our room was upgraded for free and had an outdoor tub. The room was huge and had a lot of sitting areas. Bed was king size and comfortable and clean. Smart TV can connect to YouTube but you need to sign in to your own Netflix account. Bathroom was huge. I think the room needs more hangers, complementary shampoo, reusable room slippers, scented candle/diffuser and it would be just perfect. Wifi was also fast. Breakfast buffet at pesce was cleansing and delicious for us. Loved walking around the farm, swimming at the pools, and the other services plus, the staff of the farm are very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at the Upperdeck and food was also good and yummy and it felt romantic because a guitarist and a singer serandes us.

This was an amazing trip! I haven't had a chance to write a review but here it goes. 1. The staff - Super amazing and friendly, always smiling and helpful. 2. The managers - great, caring, funny and always went above and beyond to help and accommodate. 3. Resort - Amazing ocean view and lots of activities, we went back 3 times in a span of 2 weeks. Lol 4. Room - clean and comfortable! 5. Food and drinks - delicious and amazing! One of the best in the Philippines. I've been to many hotels and resorts worldwide, but this has been the top of all of my stays. The vibe, the friendliness, activities, food and drinks. I've never felt so relaxed and I didn't even need to use my phone. No stress and all good vibes! Waking up to see the ocean with a nice cup of coffee with smooth music, it makes the hours of drive (almost 4 hours one way) to there well worth it. In my opinion, this was more than a stay, this was an unforgettable experience! We have been through the regular days and also the typhoon days, they have been amazing and helpful the whole time! It was definitely an adventure! Now I'm back in Florida again and I miss this place, but I'm planning a visit the Philippines next year and I will make this my top place to visit!

The beach was nice - the sand was smooth and not rocky, the waves are a bit chill. Hence, kid-friendly. Facilities and amenities are nice tho a bit old aready. Since the pool was big, we were able to swim in the pool even though it’s peak season and many people. Morning jog at the lagoon was good as well. We also played billiards and bowling. It’s just sad that the kids playroom was under renovation. It could’ve been a pretty good experience overall.

We enjoyed our stay very much that we even want to extend, however, my children already have their classes the following day. The place is so relaxing and plenty of instagramable place within Cintai Corito.We enjoyed the buffet included with the stay and their amenities (swimming pool). Will definitely rwcommend Cintai Corito to our friends and family and will surely comeback soon.

location great but i think the stairs upto 3rd floor is not recommendable for seniors who is planning to check in their hotel. no lifts and there's a corkage if you want to buy alcohol or wine if ever you are celebrating something

We stayed at Canyon Cove and overall, we enjoyed our visit mainly because of the beach, which was relaxing and pleasant. The pool was also a nice bonus, and it was heated at times, which we appreciated. The changing room near the beach and pool was unfortunately not well maintained and often felt unclean and unpleasant to use. We also didn’t find any proper shower or changing facility near the area, so we had to go back to our room or use the restroom, which was quite crowded and not very fresh, especially with day pass guests and only a few cubicles available. Breakfast had a decent selection with pancakes, cereals, and different viands, but there were no typical Filipino breakfast options as we expected. Even on weekdays, there were many guests, and it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed, so tables were not cleared quickly and food refilling took some time. We had to line up for breakfast for around 10–15 minutes. On a positive note, the restaurant staff were very polite and accommodating despite the busy setup. The room itself was comfortable and quiet, which made it easy to rest and sleep well. However, cleanliness could still be improved. The bed was very comfortable, which we really appreciated. Overall, the beach made the stay worthwhile and is the main highlight of the resort.
