The huge upstairs room has the best cabin feel with all the coziness you can handle.Only a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the lake but you may not want to leave the hideaway! Lake Gregory has so many things to do and see! Or even just do the 2 mile loop walk around the Lake to check it all out!We have everything you need to stay in or venture out! Enjoy the large back deck nearly year-round, dining outdoors at a teakwood table, or looking up through the behemoth pines above you as you sway in the hammock and breathe the fresh mountain air, each season with its own distinct flavor. Watch the trees sway in the breeze by day, and their silhouettes among the stars at night. Cook a complete feast atop the beautiful glass-topped stove which sits elegantly flush with the countertops. The cabin is flanked on the left by an empty wooded lot, as well as behind. To the right set back from the property is another gorgeous vacation cabin that is almost always vacant. This vintage cabin contains both heating and AC.The large 3/4 bathroom with it's lengthy countertop and mirror has enough room for several people.The AreaLess than a mile from Lake Gregory, with multiple walking trails in all directions, enjoy the idyllic scenery by car or foot in any season. Walking distance to Top Town and its quaint antique and oddities shops, dining, and vintage thrift store. Downtown is half a mile away, with an even larger selection of vintage shops, record store, multiple cozy coffee shops, a wide variety of dining options including an authentic 1950s Saloon, homestyle Mexican with a lake view, bowling alley, and a large grocery store to satisfy any imaginable need.Only an hour and change from Los Angeles, or 20 minutes up the mountain from San Bernardino, this 5,000ft elevated valley boasts extreme serenity, with crickets, a lack of any and all city sounds, and seasonal weather that can range from snowy to sunny to foggy.
