This secluded cabin sits among 7 acres of wooded hillside, with it's own dock and private cove on the lake. It is directly on the lake and sleeps 8 comfortably, with 2 FULL bathrooms. Wifi is available. You may also rent pontoons from Nick's Marina, approximately 20 minute drive from the cabin.Spring, summer, and fall are great times to escape and enjoy this cabin, with it's own boat dock and alcove area for swimming. 3 kayaks, along with life preservers and paddles, are provided for your enjoyment. The cool nights and sunny days invite you to enjoy the water during the daytime, as well as the campfire area in the evening. This cabin is located in the Peter Cave Area of Rough River. The Rough River State Park, along with the Grayson Landing Restaurant, is a 15 minute drive. The city of Leitchfield is a 10 minute drive with shopping and dining. Louisville has multiple venues ranging from Churchill Downs horse racing, Louisville Slugger Bat Museum, Mohamed Ali Museum, the University of Louisville, sports arenas, arts and plays and is 1 1/2 hours north.
