Walk out the sliding glass doors directly on to your private sandy beach on Belleau Lake. Place your chair so your toes are in the water as you relax at the waters edge. The sandy bottom water gradually slopes out to about four feet at the end of the dock. For the more adventurous they can swim out to your own private swim platform.When taking a break from all the outdoors has to offer, sit on the covered patio adjacent to the beach, a great place to have lunch, hot off the stainless steel grill. Upstairs take a nap on the three season porch that has two day beds for checking your phone or watching the boats go by. In the evening the kids love changing the colors of the “party lights” that add a little fun to the atmosphere. When actually making it inside the house you will find a new living room set, with a love seat and sofa that has a pull out memory foam full size bed, and don't forget the 50 inch wall mounted television. The first bedroom has a queen size bed with room to walk around the bed. The second bedroom has bunk beds (twin), and a full size bed. The lower level of home has a foosball table, an air hockey table and an area for games and cards. Please remember that this is a family atmosphere and we would like to rent to families for a great family vacation!!We recently added a map and video of Belleau lake. This home is located in the area marked as Skippers cove. The video of the lake is the island off shore of the northern part of the lake, called Shelter cove. This is a smaller NH lake that is full of pontoon boats, fishing boats, smaller motor boats and 3 place jet skis. Also not to be out done by the swimming, kayaks and canoes seen all over the lake!!!!Note,We have continuously made improvements on our home, and would love for you to share in this. We have added sleeping choices among other things this past year, but have not increased the number of guests in the listing. This is because we are on a septic system and cannot overload its capabilities, so enjoy all the improvements and choices but please respect the number of guests allowed. The life preservers are located in the basement storage area along with beach chairs. There are sand toys and noodles located in the storage container on the beach. During the colder months, warm up by the remote start gas fireplace or in the jacuzzi on the back deck (being installed end of January 2022) after a day of skiing, ice fishing or snowmobiling. Play a game of Ping pong, foosball, oversized connect 4 or one of the many board games! The Space:There are 4 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are situated on the 1st floor with double size beds. The other two bedrooms are upstairs 1 with a trundle bed (2 twins) and the other with a double bed and twin size air mattress if needed located in the closet. We keep a pack n' play for babies/toddlers in the closet in the 1st floor bedroom to the right. There is also a sofa located in the downstairs family room, a futon and a queen sized air mattress if needed located on the shelves under the basement stairs. We offer wireless internet access and have 2 Smart TV's with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Discovery+. There is a blue ray player as well. There is an Amazon Echo upstairs with Amazon Unlimited music (please don’t move it). The back large deck overlooks the Lake. The gas grill is located on the front porch. The beach is just steps away with chairs and a fire pit (fire wood can be purchase at the local country store just 3 minutes away).This is a family friendly neighborhood. The west side of Belleau Lake is characterized by quaint dirt roads, tall trees, and charming cottages and camps. You can park your car in the driveway and leave it there until you leave! The lake house is ideally situated; walk off the porch to your own private beautiful sandy beach with a dock, 4 minute drive to a corner store, ice cream stand, the post office, Cindy's breakfast place, The Blue Bay Seafood Restaurant, Poor People's Pub and Knotty Pine Restaurant and a local grocery store and farmer's market (in season weekends only) are a short drive away.If golf is your game, Province Lake Golf Course is less than 7 minutes away and they have a great restaurant there as well.The lake has fantastic fishing and is known for its small and large mouth bass, so bring your fishing rod and fish right from our kayaks while exploring the lake or come up and ice fish in the winter.
