"The hotel and staff were excellent. Check-in was very attentive, and we were welcomed with a nice handwritten letter that included both of our names, along with some fresh fruit to enjoy. We had a great buffet breakfast with a wide variety of cuisine, and everything was very good. My only negative was that the television was not really usable. The only English channels would not load properly, and when they did, they stopped and froze every 20–30 seconds. From what I could tell, the other channels were doing the same thing. Granted, we were not there to watch TV, but it would have been nice to be able to watch something when we wanted to. Overall, the trip was excellent, and the hotel is beautiful!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of the city and close to many local attractions. My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were extremely welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely come back!"

"I love this resort so much! Can’t wait to recommend everyone, especially those who love the zen vibe. It’s the best resort in my life. The atmosphere, the decoration, the service here and all the details are sooooo good! Although there’re lots of flowers and trees, but I couldn’t find any insect or mosquitoes! I also attended their free yoga and meditation classes. The vibes here just made us relaxing. We were ungraded to a villa and we totally enjoyed our stay here! I’ll definitely miss this place and the staff here! I recommend everyone to book the villa. The villa made my Vietnamese trip totally worth it! I also had a spa treatment, jacuzzi and sauna. Although i think the spa is a bit pricey, but thinking that i can relax with this beautiful place. Why not experience it once in a lifetime!"

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality and location. We booked a Deluxe Room, which was spacious, comfortable, and gave us plenty of room to relax. The bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was provided for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and if I have the opportunity to visit Huế again, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price!"

"As an architecture lover, th hotel is incredibly beautiful - a 1930s Art Deco building was the former French colonial governor’s residence. The interiors are classy and elegant (and smelled really nice too!). Breakfast was great, as were the spa and gym. The staff were also incredibly helpful. Would definitely come back again!"

"Lovely resort, 2 very clean pools, beachfront, villas are very well presented, 2 TV’s, free WiFi, very good restaurant food items. Location is the only negative as there is nothing close bar a couple of very small lunch/ bar places for locals. Bay restaurants were closed when we were there."

"The service at Ancient Hue Garden Houses was incredible! Everything was nice and helpful. They even called us to see if we wanted breakfast and they extended the availability by an extra hour. The hotel is really beautiful, with a mix of traditional royal architecture and French colonial. There are two pools and two restaurants as well. The location is near the Imperial City by a stream in a quiet area of the city. It was a great respite to the bustle of motorbikes in the city center. I highly recommend it."

"Great Location and Excellent Service – Perfect for a Short Stay We recently stayed at the Century Riverside Hotel in Hue for one night. Overall, we had a positive experience and would certainly recommend it for travelers looking for a convenient base in the city. Room Experience We booked a family room with a connecting door. Upon arrival, we found that the setup was actually two small rooms with an open section between them, rather than two fully separate rooms with a connecting door. While this wasn't the exact layout we expected, it didn't bother us at all since we were only staying for one night. It is just worth keeping in mind if you are traveling as a family and prefer complete privacy. The Highlights Despite the room layout, the hotel excels in several key areas: • Perfect Location: The hotel is centrally located, making it very easy to explore Hue and access everything you need nearby. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It was very extensive, and everything we tasted was delicious—definitely a great way to start the morning. • Friendly Staff: The service was a major highlight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our time there, which really made our stay more pleasant. I was treated like royalty from the moment I arrived for my 4 night stay. Requested a much earlier check in with no problem & no extra cost. Was offered a free upgrade to an incredible much larger apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable bed & pillows. The housekeeping staff cleaned every day & left fresh water & fruit. The breakfast selection is huge with an 'egg station' to have your eggs cooked just how you like. I ordered dinner to my room in the evening & the food & service was impeccable. The free Yoga & Tai Chi Classes are an extra bonus & I got the chance to kayak on the Lagoon for 2 hours which is also free. If I needed help with anything I just had to message & was replied to immediately. I also requested a later check out & that was done with no problem. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, if only all hotel staff were like this! The only flaw at the Resort is the Bird Room. I didn't know birds would be in cages & unable to fly properly. This was upsetting & I can imagine may put some people off from booking. It doesn't make sense to cage birds when you are surrounded by them at the Resort. Apart from that aspect I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay & thank everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

What a brilliant place. From the beginning the front desk was super accommodating and made sure that my stay albeit the one night that I stayed, was comfortable and convenient. They gave me a map and suggested local areas to try for food, sightsee and experience the culture here in Hue. Ms Tho was an absolute gem and also helped me book my onward leg bus ticket to Phong Nha. Only wish I had the time to stay here longer. Post checkout they kept my stuff and even let me freshen up before the sleeper bus came.  Only thing I would suggest is to remove the flag of a genocidic state (Israel) from the “where do you come from board” in the main lobby.

Having stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special. The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

Good value for money. The location is convenient enough that you are not far away from attractions, restaurants and cafes. There are water dispensers on each floor that you can easily fill up your water bottles during the day. Staff are so friendly and kind, they always great you with smiles. The only thing we found a bit unpleasant is they seem to offer swimming trainings to non-hotel guests during the day every day? Whether we were there early in the morning or late at night, there were kids having swimming trainings with a coach.

This is so far the best ever resort I've had the pleasure to stay at. From exclusive and delicious food, to a delightful Spa, this resort has everything you need or want. The restaurants: Moomba, Rice Bowl, Rice Bar and Saffron, offer a wonderful selection of dishes suitable for lovers of meat and fish, and also suitable for vegans as well. The pool is incredible and has a nice little bar. The staff members are beyond friendly and caring. They remember your names, they always ask about your stay and they pay close attention to all of your needs. Especially, I'd love to mention Hien, who was very kind and caring, Linh, a wonderful lady, making sure we had no issues during the stay, and Trinh, who was a joy to talk to when we visited the golf facility. Overall, it was our second time there and we'd definitely go back!

We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

The hotel is value for money. Location is good which near to a river at the back of the hotel. The hotel provide us the room with a big window which have a river view. Easy to locate for food and coffee, all shops are within 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel not located at the main road, it is less noise during the night. The popular Hue walking street is only 10 minutes from the hotel. Popular restaurant is just about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff and friendly and helpful, they help us to book the limo from Hue to Hoi An, and always follow up when the limo come late to hotel to pick us up. Highly recommended if you just want to spend decently on stay but intend to spend more on food instead.

The hotel is in a convenient location, about a 20 minutes walk to the old city. Plenty of eateries and shops around. It's also just a 25 minutes drive to the train station (we took the scenic train to Danang). The room was ok and mostly clean, but the bed was very hard and the pillows felt like a sac of potato. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to caters mainly to Chinese tour groups. They are very noisy and unruly. The breakfast area felt like a market, the bread and pastries were stale and un-edible, the bacon was hard and dry. Maybe the Asian fare was good, the continental/western fare was terrible. Would not recommend!

We booked rooms for 1 night only, but faced multiple problems. 1. They rent bikes till midnight only! But nobody told us that information. And the next day in the early morning (7.40 am) I got a message from a reception with ”if you keep bikes now we are going to charge you for one more day”. Day before I asked at reception ”should we bring bikes back before chekout” and answer was OK! So remember that you have to bring it till midnight, if you rent for 1 day only. Otherwise they tell you that you rent for more than 1 day! And probably no one is going to say you this information before. 2. I paid all the prices online, but at checkout they asked me to pay by cash... So actually it was kinda annoying, cause we waited for a taxi, but i had to explain that I already paid online. 3. So there were few little mistakes/misunderstandings. For example my friends ordered breakfast while check-in, but tomorrow morning stuff said ”you didn't order breakfast” and stuff like that. Small problems, but it was a lot of them But my room was nice, clean and with a perfect view. The area is quiet and calm, but not much food around, you have to drive/walk for it.

Кровать немного подуставшая. Когда на ней пытаешься переворачиваться, начинает хрустеть, как будто чуть и провалишься. Дверь сильно хрустит когда открываешь. Из плюсов. Есть горячая вода. Хорошее расположение. Близко везде. В целом норм, но можно было бы конечно и ремонт провести. Я в целом никакого дискомфорта не испытывал
