"Good experience overall. On Trip.com it states there is free parking available, but this is not true. The hotel did clarify this when I mentioned parking on my booking request. They advised us to park at the Old Town Rose Street parking (paid) which is less than 5 minute walk away."

"The Royal Highland is a former British Transport Hotel and, as such, is very well located right next to Inverness railway station. It also has much of the grandeur you expect from such historic premises. This hotel could be fabulous with some investment, but it is a little tired around the edges. However, it is clean and the service friendly and helpful. I would return!"

"I’m so happy to have stayed at AC Inverness! My friend and I were very satisfied with our stay—the room was comfortable, and the cost-performance ratio was great. One experience that left a deep impression on me happened when we were about to leave. We were in a rush to catch a bus and very hungry, so we bought some quick meals from a nearby convenience store but had no way to heat. I went to the hotel bar on the first floor for help and met Ismail, a staff member (an elderly gentleman). He was incredibly kind and helped us heat our food. He even worried that we didn’t have utensils and provided them for us. I was truly touched by his kindness. Encounters like this while traveling far from home are incredibly heartwarming. Thank you so much, Ismail! I will definitely stay at AC Inverness again next time and will recommend it to my friends."

"A very well situated hotel right in the centre of Inverness and just a few minutes walk from the central train station. Surrounding the hotel are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops which is great and you’re also very close to the bus station for taking trips out of town. The room was basic and a little bit tired (some dents and scratches, frayed carpet) but otherwise was clean and tastefully decorated with basic amenities like a kettle, hair dryer, tea bags, a large TV, so on. We were facing the main road so on Saturday evening it was quite loud but the reception desk provided us with ear plugs upon request which were more than adequate. We would come back to this hotel again next time we’re in Inverness."

"Great location with easy walk into city centre. Quiet at night. Situated right on the River Ness with fabulous views of the river from our room. Lovely building with lots of original features such as high ceilings, sash windows and wood panelling. Rooms cleaned and beds made every day. Lift at hotel. Nice bar with friendly staff. Helpful reception team. Luggage storage given on day of departure. Twin bedded room allocated which we requested. Well worth the price and much nicer than modern generic hotels locally. Will definitely stay here again"

"The room was spacious and bright, clean and quiet. The shower pressure was comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. The hotel faces the Nice River, offering beautiful views. The staff were very friendly. Downstairs, there are complimentary coffee and tea bags available for guests to take."

"We had a fantastic stay at Kingsmill Hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course which was beautiful. The bathroom was cleaned perfectly with no dust or mould. The kingside bed was huge and very comfortable. We would stay again."

"Best for families, close to retail park, few nice places for kids, infolate, bowling etc nearby. Best hot chocolate all day serve free of charge. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would stay again if going with family. Nice , fresh breakfast. Free parking."
