Hotel terbaik di Iquique

When we arrived at the Hotel Ibis, we were not given the rooms which we h ad reserved. Both of us couples were given different rooms for which we each paid. When we arrived home I realized that we had paid twice for out rooms. I contacted trips.com and spoke to a gentleman who assured me that I would receive a refund for the $236.60 for the rooms which I had reserved. I have still not received that refund. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que la reserva que hizo Trip fue de 2 camas individuales. Al contarles que era nuestra luna de miel, no sólo nos asignaron una habitación con cama matrimonial sino que también con vista al mar. Nos atendieron siempre muy bien, de forma acogedora. La comida exquisita. El único problema es la ubicación ya que hay que salir en Uber o similar porque es un poco peligroso salir caminando (poca vereda). Todo lo demás muy bien.

Me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación, ya que los vecinos eran muy ruidosos y ambas habitaciones conectaban por una puerta que está estaba cerrada. En la 2da habitación no había secador de pelo, luego nos llevaron uno. Me dió una infección a la piel por Pseudomona producto del baño en la piscina temperada (diagnóstico médico: foliculitis del jacuzzi, por falta de cloración de las piscinas). El estacionamiento tenía muy mal olor, evidentemente había filtraciones de aguas servidas. La vista hacia la pileta de la calle horrible lleno de papeles y hasta una carpa instalada frente al hotel (se que no es responsabilidad de ellos, pero un mínimo de preocupación). Los cristales de las ventanas del ascensor llenas de heces de palomas. A favor del hotel el personal fue muy muy amable. El desayuno excelente.

My two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Iquique was comfortable and enjoyable. I requested a room facing the pool/courtyard area, and it was quiet, despite its position on the ground floor. Common areas and my room were clean overall, if not dated and in need of some renovating. The staff were friendly, and most of the reception folks spoke English at a proficient level. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. I would gladly return on a future Iquique trip!

Sufrí en mi habitación el ingreso de una persona ajena mientras estaba preparándome para dormir. Fue un momento de pánico. La persona que estaba a cargo en la noche en e lobby, cometió un error y le dió una tarjeta habilitada para mi pieza a otro pasajero que venía ingresando. Menos mal estaba en el baño y pude encerrarme cuando ví que alguien ingresó. Nadie se me acercó después del hecho a corroborar si yo estaba bien. estuve encerrada en el baño gritando pidiendo ayuda, nadie vino. Incluso cuando el pasajero que hizo ingreso habiéndose devuelto al lobby para contar lo que le ocurrió (sin yo saber nada aun porque estaba encerrada pensando que había un delincuente en mi pieza), la persona encargada solo llamo por citófono a la habitación y yo no pude responder ya que estaba encerrada con pánico en el baño, nadie fue a mi pieza a corroborar nada ni a decirme que fue un error. NADA. Fue espantoso, cero protocolo de seguridad.

Realizamos un viaje de 4 días y 3 noches, nos hospedamos en la suite del piso 20, es realmente una maravilla la vista que se tiene de toda la playa cavancha. Lo recomiendo 100%. La habitación amplia, cómoda, limpia, al ser apartment y hotel cuenta con cocina totalmente equipada (lo que nos sirvió mucho ya que al viajar con un bebé hay que calentar su comida, leche, etc), tiene un comedor, 1 sofá y tv en la sala de estar. Muy cómodo la verdad. También tiene un jacuzzi con hidromasaje que no dan ganas de dejar el Hotel. El servicio a la habitación del bar piso 21, buena comida, los precios acorde al lugar y todo el personal del hotel son muy amables desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Volvería a este hotel. Pd: mi bebé de 1 año disfruto mucho de la vista despertaba feliz admirando todo por la ventana.
