Good points. The free WiFi is very good and was easily accessible from our room. The SkiSet rental is in the basement, so it couldn't be easier to pick-up and return your skis. It really is less than 5 mins to the slopes with easy access to a chairlift. There is also a small spa area, with free to access the jacuzzi, the steam room and sauna. Bad points. The beds are so uncomfortable! They look like they're a thick cut of memory foam that's remembered the last over-sized person sleeping on it. The pillows are the exact opposite, no support at all. Also, annoyingly the beds move at the slightest opportunity so you can't sit up in bed and lean back against the wall to watch the TV; not that you'll be watching much telly unless you speak fluent French. I'm a Coeliac and whilst the hotel was gluten aware, it wasn't gluten considerate; most nights my only options were salad, vegetables and cheese. That said the chef did give me my own bag of gluten-free bread for the duration. The staff are generally friendly, although English isn't widely spoken. The desk is only staffed up to 8pm, so any problems after that have to wait until the next day, which brings me to my real complaint. Next door decided they would party to the early hours and there was absolutely no one I could talk to about it. I eventually got dressed and asked them in my broken French to keep the noise down, but they were way too drunk to listen to any reason.
