Perfect place for a family holiday. We were holidaying with a 5 month old baby. The hotel made all of is feel so welcome. The pools and slides are fun for all ages. Great food and the hotel rooms were lovely. Also the most comfortable bed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have just returned from a 1 week stay. Lovely family style hotel. Interesting design with interior plants making it look beautiful. Clean, excellent food, on the beach and beautiful pool area….until you attempt to relax on a sunbed. I have to agree with a previous poster as we had the same feelings regarding this area. Unfortunately this ruined the holiday for us. They have an employee who marchs around in a black uniform with a challenging manner. We felt intimidated and constantly watched. I understand that sunbeds should not be reserved and there are always a few who ignore this however the half an hour rule is simply ridiculous. My husband and I couldn’t do activities together as it would have meant off both beds and we would have stickers put on them ready to remove our belongings. At on point the man watched my husband get into the pool and in less than 5 minutes came and pointed at the sunbed in an aggressive manner. My husband had to come back before I could even go the bathroom! Lunch…. Run, eat and get indigestion or there will be no where to sit on your return! This behaviour happened repeatedly and everywhere around the pool. We witnessed many confrontations that made for a horrible a**osphere. Due to this we chose to go to the beach and not spend much time around the pool. Really sad because the pool area really is beautiful. We did speak to the Tui rep and he said he had received a few complaints. Unfortunately we will not return nor who recommended.

Great hotel, great location and amazing food, people are friendly always smiling. Feels very local and homely. Thank you! Only two things that questioned me was a security deposit for pool towels and no inflatables in the pool? Apart from that no issues!

The hotel was lovely and staff were really helpful...we were a large group and they really did a great job. It was always clean and lovely..and has a gorgeous pool and lovely private beach

Excellent hotel with great facilities and location, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic with a great choice, catering for one vegetarian , one gluten free and a child which loves pasta. So much to entertainment team kids clubs slides ect. Very clean hotel and definitely going back next year.

Another wonderful stay at Estival Islantilla. Second year running and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location, lovely staff, excellent facilities. A warm welcome on arrival and 10 days of lounging by the pool, making much use of the hotel restaurants and bars and mooching round the local area. Really can't understand some of the negative comments. I think Brits just have a chip on their shoulder. And if they don't actually have something to moan about they'll just make something up. Luckily the hotel seems to cater largely for Spanish and Portuguese families which is fine by me.
