We enjoyed our visit to Isle of Skye and a huge part of that is staying at Atholl House. Very friendly employees, kind and considerate. They really get to know you. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and good coffee/tea. We dined twice for supper and the meals were scrumptious, and came right out of the oven. I highly recommend a stay at Atholl House when in Dunvegan. It really is a home away from home.

Stayed here three nights. Beautiful clean room and shower room. Clean white bedding and comfy bed. Staff were lovely and couldn’t have done more for you. Very welcoming. Meal on first night was excellent. Service great. The only thing i didn’t like was the tonic water!!! So not a lot to complain about!! A very well run hotel who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

First of all, the owners have the basics dead right. We had a comfortable, thoughtfully furnished bedroom and an absolutely spotless bathroom. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Attention to detail was superb: for instance, locally sourced produce, carefully chosen Scottish toiletries, pretty china cups for coffee and tea in one’s room (or a bean-to-cup coffee machine in the cosy dining room to be used ad lib), and a lovely lounge with books and board games. All this would make the Atholl House Hotel a lovely place to stay. But there’s more: the owners and their team make it a point of pride to offer the friendliest, kindest and most personal service imaginable. It was a real joy to spend time here.

As semi locals, we always enjoy calling into Atholl House for coffee and the great selection of cakes. We also try to fit in a platter night on our regular visits. Last night was our first for a while and certainly didn’t disappoint. Great food, competent and friendly service and really good value. Would certainly recommend if you are in north west Skye.

Spent a few nights here to explore Skye. A great accommodation. The rooms were very comfortable. Atholl house also offers a delicious dinner. I so often experience that the accommodations look better on the pictures than in reality - certainly not the case here.

Stayed at Atholl House with my wife for 3 nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Jennie and the ladies were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable, as was the lounge area and dining room. The buffet style breakfast was very good and we also ate here every evening and had 3 very nice meals. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone thinking of visiting Skye.

Had a meal tonight as a non- resident. The welcome was friendly, the service great and the food just right. Friday and Saturday nights are “platter nights” we had the soup and platter option. Tasty spicy soup and the platters brought so we could share the bread (very good - I make my own so I can be critical) which came with platters with the soup. We ordered a fish platter and a meat platter to share. - A bottle of red wine, and my companion had a dram of talksker. Altogether a lovely relaxing experience with excellent food and wine at an amazingly reasonable price.

This has been an amazing stay for my walking group of six Austrian ladies and myself. I would recommend it to any group as facilities are ideal. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly and the lounge and restaurant are relaxing and enjoyable.

The nicest people who elevate service to an art. Food was delicious - rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We would give it 9 stars on a 5 star rating. All the comforts of home in a hotel /guest house experience
