We loved this hotel and really enjoyed staying there. It’s situated in a green garden with lots of fruit trees and awesome views, our room had a terrace from which you get to the pool through the garden, and the pool is also awesome - it’s very clean and never crowded. The rooms are good, the only thing was even though I love soft mattresses, these were too soft even for me - you just drown in it, and it’s a bit hot to sleep in it in summer (but still, better than hard mattresses!). The best thing is that the hotel has its own small territory and atmosphere unlike hotels located right by the sea, so although you have to walk up (and it’s not an easy walk for someone who is not used to this), it was worth coming back to it. The only downside of the hotel is food. This is something that really needs improvement and I hope maybe the management reads my reviews and works on it a bit. First thing, coffee. It’s just not coffee, it’s literally impossible to drink, we ended up ordering tea for breakfast and drinking instant coffee in our room. Second, the restaurant is very expensive and closed in summer at 9pm. When we came to the hotel at 9-30, they said we could only order pizza, and the hotel is too far from the sea to go back to eat, so we ordered pizza and it was one of those frozen supermarket things with no taste. And third, breakfast - it is generally common for the area, and you can even get fresh orange juice, but we are used to eating 2 eggs in the morning and they offer tiny portion of omelette (again, not good) per person, and when we asked for more the waiter said “it’s our standard portion” - eventually I had to ask the reception to help us with this, and only after that he gave us normal size potions the next day. Anyway, if I were the manager of this hotel I would get at least a simple coffee machine and change pizza provider, because otherwise it’s a great hotel, I even don’t want to give it less stars because of the food thing, but we did miss eggs and coffee.
