This hotel has absolutely no connection to the photos that are posted. The hotel is catastrophically dirty, there is mold everywhere, a horrible smell, and the bedding is full of human hair, which is absolutely unacceptable to me. We were in the country for medical reasons, and based on the hotel’s rating, we decided it would be safe. I kindly ask you, due to the unbearable filth, we had to leave the hotel and search from street to street for shelter to stay in another hotel. It was a complete disappointment and a catastrophe. Even though we did not stay there, the hotel took no measures to cancel the booking or provide any compensation.

I recommend. A cozy hotel in the Taksim area, next to the central square. Within walking distance, the local Arbat - Istiklal, the Ataturk cultural center, a shuttle stop to the airports. You can walk to the Kabatash ferry station - convenient. Friendly staff. They speak English, some employees speak Russian. The room has a refrigerator with a freezer and a microwave. The hotel itself is quiet, but in the neighboring area there is a loud nightclub that can interfere with sleep with loud music.

The hotel is very modest and the hotel reviews and photos were unfortunately not accurate, but the hotel manager, Mr. Orhan, was the epitome of ethics, good treatment, and concern for the guests. I thank him greatly from the bottom of my heart.

The hotel room was pretty and comfortable. The furniture was placed in the right places, so it was good for working on the computer. The room also had kitchen facilities, which was convenient. I requested breakfast, and it was clean and delicious. I would especially like to thank the two managers for their kindness. When I got off the city tour bus and was confused after leaving my phone behind, the manager personally called the bus company and helped me find it. And he was kind enough to accompany me to the bus company, which was far away. I am so touched after coming to a foreign country. Thank you again. Always stay healthy~~

Traveling with my family, because there are three of us, we specially booked a smaller room, which is very spacious for one person. You can take the airport bus from Istanbul Airport to Daksim Station (205 liras per person on the 16th bus of the airport bus). After getting off, use the map to locate the hotel, and walk about 15 minutes with your luggage to reach the hotel. At the entrance to the hotel, there is a taxi station (there are many yellow taxis). Walk along the alley. The second picture is the appearance of the hotel. There is a Chinese supermarket downstairs of the hotel (the 4th photo), and there is a small supermarket with a full range of goods 10 minutes away (the 5th photo). I chose the apartment because I wanted to eat something delicious sometimes. We also knew that we didn’t need to clean it every day, but the hotel still arranged for an aunt to do the cleaning for us. I am very grateful. The front desk of the hotel is like an office. Two amiable old gentlemen introduced the hotel facilities slowly over and over again, and took the initiative to add WeChat and said that we could contact them at any time if we had anything. They took the initiative to lend us the transportation card and also provided us with a wifi box. I originally wanted to take the subway to the airport when I left, but the old man suggested that we take the airport bus. Every staff member here is very enthusiastic and especially recommends friends traveling with family to choose this place.

The hotel is good. We stayed in November-December - it was not cold, the air conditioner worked. For its price, the hotel was good. It was quiet.

The transportation is very convenient, the subway is a 5-minute walk away, and the airport bus is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast is also good. In short, it is a good hotel for the price-performance ratio. There are not many types of Chinese goods in the supermarket downstairs.

The hotel's price-performance ratio is great. The location is excellent, you can walk into the city center and even to the Galatasaray Bridge. My hotel room was very simple but clean. The breakfast was also very simple and filling. The staff are super nice, they answer all your questions and they even lent me a postcard. I would go back to the hotel anytime. If you are looking for good value for money, this is the right place for you.

We spent 5 days in the hotel . We were surprised by the kindness and the professionalism of the team . The rooms are clean and well equipped The hotel is very well located, at only 2 minutes wildling from Takcim but without the noise. Special thanks to Mr Orhan and Ali for their kindness they made our stay very special .

The hotel is just must stay there, minutes walking to the tube station and Taksim square. Safe and clean place. The staff is friendly and welcoming. In addition to this, there is a free washing machine available for the hotel guests. I would definitely recommend the place.

The hospitality is great, they offered us better room than the one we booked, Orhan actually was super nice, he explained to us everything about districts in Istanbul The hotel is like 5 mins walking to Taksim square Nothing is missing from the rooms and it's super clean and comfortable The hotel is cozy and felt like home :)

An excellent hotel, I highly recommend it. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and has all what you need for a comfortable stay. Here you will feel at home. You will NEVER regret making this choice.

Our choice of the Away Suites was based on location and the many excellent reviews that we had read. The location could not be better, a quiet side street just 2 minutes from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street but without the noise and hustle & bustle of this 24 hour city. It’s also just a ten minute walk down to Kabatas ferry and tram stations. There is also a funicular running up and down from Taksim if you don’t fancy the steep climb back again. We had a deluxe room which was well equipped with a small kitchen area including a fridge and electric stove. There are a couple of small supermarkets just across the road which proved to be very handy as we didn’t always want to eat out. The bathroom was fine with fresh towels provided each day and bed linen was also changed every other day. Cleanliness is always very important and we certainly had no complaints in this respect. There is a TV, but with no English language channels, so we were glad that we had brought a Firestick which enabled us to watch Netflix etc. and catch up with the news. The Wi-Fi signal was very good and allowed us to watch movies uninterrupted. There is a small elevator just big enough for two people or one person and a suitcase. We were given a key to the outside door which is locked at night although the lobby is staffed 24 hours a day so we always felt safe. The staff were always friendly and very helpful, and we often stopped for a quick chat with Mr.Orhan, Genghis and Ali the night porter. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice and would highly recommend the Away Suites.

More details: + From the beginning Orhan offers to help to navigate to the Hotel, on your choice: bus, taxi, or transfer. + The hotel also offered to get Istanbulcart for free (for public transport). + They also provided a sim card for a mobile phone, also free of charge. + As it is a small hotel, so they made breakfast at the exact time your choose. So you always stay longer to take extra tea and chat). + Room is clean. And they clean every day. Also, the towels and bedsheets are changed every 3 days. + Rooms can have a kitchen or only kitchen tools. So, if you really want to have a kitchen, so just contact the host to clarify that. + I have to mention that. We rented a room in the basement, but when I arrived, Orhan has a surprise and offered me the room on the 3rd floor (the room is more expensive than in the basement). He said that there is less noise from the road, and it will be more comfortable. + For one night my friend visited Istambul and stayed in our hotel. And Orhan offers my friend the room next to our room, which allowed us to communicate by opening all the doors in the rooms. Thank him very much for this! + We used a transfer from the hotel.
