The hotel is in the Karaköy district, which is perfect for exploring Istanbul. It’s walkable to the T1 tram station, Galata Tower, and the art museum so location is definitely a highlight. The area also feels pretty safe, even for female travelers, which is a big plus.
Our room was clean and had a spacious bathroom, which was nice. However, we were placed on the first floor, and the view was underwhelming.
The staff greeted us and said hello, but I didn’t feel very welcomed for a 5-star service. They could have been more helpful with directions and local tips, especially since we were female travelers. Overall, service felt a bit distant. maybe I expected more from a 5-star property. (Just my personal opinion )
Pros:
- Excellent location
- Safe area for female travelers
- Clean room and big bathroom
Cons:
- First floor view was disappointing
- Staff could be friendlier and more helpful

Honestly l've been living in 4 and 5 star hotels across the Middle East for the last 4 years and this has been outstanding in terms of feeling like at home. 10/10

This is a beautifully decorated hotel, converted from a historical building. The location is superb, walking distance to most scenic sites and local amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend!

Its good but the room service close at 11pm
And the room cleaning stopped at 4pm
No any spa
But there is a small gym

Was not worth it!
I’ve booked terrace room, which is one of highest priced and expected good quality room and view.
Terrace was already closed in November, even tho weather is good, furniture is covered. But more importantly the view from the balcony is awful, there is nothing but garbage and backyard. Literally not worth it!
Room is clean, but not super fresh.
This hotel doesn’t have rooms with bathtubs, only shower if that important.
No constant concierge service to open the door or meet you on arrival.
Actually service is below average.
Breakfast ok, but nothing special.
Not sure for what it got in Michelin guide and trip recommendations, this is mediocre hotel in Istanbul.
No spa amenities, nothing.
Disappointed experience.

The hotel has no soundproofing, so it was very difficult to sleep because of the nearby road. During breakfast, the staff were not very friendly, and some of them didn’t understand English.

Lovely hotel with a calm and classy vibe, ideally located near to the busy restaurant area so short walk to breakfast lunch and dinner, or just a drink.
Staff exceptional, Rabia on reception, Ebrar the concierge and Ayhut the bell captain always with a smile and willingness to help, sometimes it’s the people who make the difference.
Tram stop only about 400 metres walk away, we enjoyed our stay very much

The service and the attitude of the staff and reception team is the opposite of what you expected from the legendary Turkish hospitality. There had in this hotel a very bad attitude. Very arrogant and talking to you in an extremely rude manner !! Never do it in this level of arrogance !
Despite the good location to visit the city and the corrective actions done by the female manager of this place, the rest of the staff make your stay a nightmare in term of consistency and service.
Don’t ask simple a glass of water as at the reception, they will tell you : « we send it to you asap.. » and after a while they will call you in the room and say we will send but you will have to pay it .. in short good location but if you expected to be treated as a normal client , forget about it. I usually don’t take the time to give a feedback but this experience was so chocking and terrible that I have to share it as you will be very disappointed if you are going to this hotel .
Only the manager try to save the situation but the chocking attitude and lack of respect and training is extremely disappointing !!!
