Ulasan Istanbul Royal Hotel

I wouldn’t advise my friends to stay here there was no air conditioning in my room, the mattress which was there was very hard and it hurt my back and it was very difficult to sleep on it. When I first arrived my room smelt like somebody was previously smoking in there.   I couldn’t possibly understand why this hotel was rated a four star.

The noise from the window was terrible. I could hear noise from the main street through the night I tried to take a nap during the day time and the noise from the streets was horrible There are no kettle facilities in the bedroom

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Istanbul, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The cleanliness left much to be desired—dust was noticeable in the room, and it didn’t feel properly maintained. The lack of basic facilities was disappointing as well. Essentials like a kettle and an iron weren’t included and had to be paid for separately, which felt inconvenient and unnecessary. The food was just average, with no authentic Turkish dishes offered, which was a letdown. On top of that, the reception staff was quite pushy, constantly trying to sell their transfer services, making the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was okay, but the hotel could greatly improve its cleanliness, amenities, and customer service.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the staf was very warm and friendly . And the location is great too!

The hotel had 4 stars, but it didn’t live up to that rating. The staff were good, and the cleanliness was average. However, the breakfast was disappointing. The coffee tasted like water, and there wasn’t anything special about the breakfast selection.

Good and nice stay..we got cozy and small economy room. Breakfast is good and location is in the heart of old city of Istanbul

Hotel really dirty with strong ciggarette smell, breakfast also very basic and limited. Overall not recommended.

The hospitality was not good at all, at least a smile can make travelers happy when they check in! The breakfast was complete and good. The cleanliness of the rooms was acceptable. In general, it is recommended for business trips at an economical cost

The hotel was outdated to no end!!! Filthy, hazardous, and lacking the basics in every corner. The manager was rude and couldn't care less if the customers were satisfied. I did inform her that I would post the pictures online, and her response was, "I don't care." There were molds everywhere, the windows had a huge draft, and the rooms had no heating. We froze and had to sleep with our coats on. The hairdryer fell apart as we turned it on, and the bathtub had a huge crack. I would NOT recommend this hotel to my Enemies! I have attached some pictures for your pleasure. We had to check out after three days but were supposed to stay for a week. They refused to refund us our money!

Not a four-star hotel, by any means. The front desk staff is constantly impolite. Very filthy rooms; you have to buy your own water bottles; no tea or coffee in the room. Most of the time, the air conditioner is not working properly. Location is the only positive aspect. Hotel with 4-star rating but 2-star performance.

The hotel was good. Only the internet not working well in the room
