Ulasan Mevlana Hotel

There was a weird vibe at this hotel, whole the location was great (super close to Aya Sophie and Blue Mosque) for this price I think you could do better elsewhere.

Расположен между Голубой Мечетью и набережной (минут по 5 в каждую сторону) - т.е до основных достопримечательностей рукой подать и можно наслаждаться прогулкой вдоль моря. До трамвая идти минут 13-15, учитывайте, если планируете посещать другие районы - это самый удобный способ перемещения по Стамбулу. Действительно есть терраса с видом на море и купола Голубой мечети. Очень приятно завтракать. Про завтраки: даже если вы не едите на завтрак турецкое жареное и острое, вы сможете нормально позавтракать: омлет, сыры, корнфлекс с йогуртом, огурчики-помидорчики, фрукты, печенюшки. Особо отмечу ореховый соус - это фишка, очень радует. Кофе, конечно, мог бы быть и лучше. «Соки» - кошмарная химия. Тут же можно поужинать, но цены как во всём Султанахмете и в наличии не всё, что заявлено в меню и винной карте. Важно: в 5 мин ходьбы кафе и ресторан (отличаются наличием-отсутствием алкоголя) с видом на море и приемлемыми ценами (лучше чем во всей округе). Уютные номера в спокойных тонах. Новое постельное бельё (по крайней мере у меня было). Убирали и ставили воду каждый день (правда, вешал табличку). Гели-шмели в наличии. Ребята спокойные, с выдержкой, доброжелательные. Немного подкачал тот товарищ, который по-русски говорит - как будто всегда немного раздражён. Внимание ! То чего нет на сайтах бронирования: окно номера «стандарт» выходит в мрачный колодец примерно 2х2 метра с таким же окном из другого номера напротив; со всеми вытекающими. В этом же колодце установлены довольно шумные наружные блоки кондиционеров. Да и попахивает в нём чем-то не очень приятным. Я о таком «сюрпризе» был не в курсе . Здесь явная недоработка Trip.com - нельзя допускать, чтобы отели скрывали такую важную информацию. В целом: чисто, уютно, в самом сердце Стамбула и завтраки с видом на море.

The Hotel is amazing and has an amazing view from the top at the restaurant. Food super delicious. The room very warm and clean. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with everything you may need. We stayed 3 nights and we are thinking to come back again in the summer because the location is fantastic and only 5-7 mins away from the Blu Mosque. We suggest to all to try the best hospitality that this hotel gives to all of Guests. See you guys soon. EDIOLA & MATT

I booked Mevlana Hotel for a week. When I reached to the hotel was 23:30 pm and I was so tired. Upon entering the hotel, I noticed that the hotel was very dirty, unsuitable, and completely different from the photos. When I entered the room, I immediately regretted it because the room was so small that I had no place for my clothes and luggage. And the unpleasant smell of sewage was annoying. I had to stay at the Mevlana Hotel for one night, because I could not look for a new hotel that night because I was so tired and it was too late. This hotel is a dishonest and the photos are completely different from reality. I informed the reception (Mr. Bedirhan) in the morning that I would cancel the reservation because it was completely far from what I was expecting. He got very aggressive and brutal, he threatened me while I told him kindly about the fact that the hotel was completely out of my expectations and he got angry and threatened and forced me to pay the whole one week amount to him. While in their policy was mentioned that In case of cancellation, the money will be deducted overnight. He insulted me and my partner several times and I warned him that it was wrong to treat a guest and a foreigner like that, and he continued to threaten us badly. Finally I left there while I was crying and paid two night to him. It was the worst experience of me in a travel and unfortunatly I found them by ***********. After cancelation I was not able to write anything for them because there was not any survey for me anymore and I preferred to complain from them here.

Can't recommend this hotel. There were too many *******. For €50 per night in Istanbul I expected more from a hotel. The room was tired, the windows didn't close properly. The pillows were too hard (and no softer ones available). Detected a bit of attitude from the guys at reception plus a poor breakfast made it a hotel hard to like.

We experienced great service at the hotel. The staff really went the extra mile for us in every way possible. We arrived at 7am to the hotel and we were given our room. The hotel is in a great location and there are many historical places, shopping and top restaurants. The only negative was the bed which was too firm for our liking.

We came to Istanbul with friends for New Year Celebration. And we love everything about it. I love the hotel. Rooms are cozy and clean. Personal are so kind and try to help with everything! The location is great!!! So many restaurants are close to the hotel and historical places as well! iLove it! I would definitely come back ❤️

Mevlana is a cozy hotel which located in a nice neighborhood. The staff are friendly. Baris and biderhan is very helpful I recommend this hotel , and will back here agian. You will be happy here. Nice location , clean room , good breakfast Enjoy your time

This was our 3rd visit to Istanbul, thought we would try a different hotel; however it could have been a lot better. The location is the best thing about it, but not really much more to it; I read the reviews prior to booking it, so I was a bit surprised. Front office staff – seem to be quite a few different guys every day. They were helpful, but just need to be a bit friendlier, maybe interact a little more. When we arrived, we were told that the superior rooms we had booked on the higher floor wasn’t ready due to some bathroom issues, and we were given some basement family rooms, they were a little depressing to be honest. It was scorching and the air-con wasn’t working either. We were told that the rooms would be fixed, cleaned the next day, that was fine, but a bit of a hassle as we couldn’t unpack our suitcases properly. A new morning, a new member of staff on reception, asked when we can move in to the rooms we had originally booked, he said, “oh after 12pm as we have some people checking out, then the rooms will be cleaned, then you can have them”. I thought wait a minute, what happened to the story we were told yesterday about some bathroom issues? He then quickly changed his reasoning; was not impressed with either story to be honest. Eventually got the original rooms we booked and they were nice. Breakfast - Not much choice, same every day; boiled eggs, scrambled eggs (gone before we got there and not topped up again), chocolate bananas, choc biscuits, cucumbers. We hardly ate/drank anything as a family. No real help from the staff, I appreciate they are busy but none of the guests looked happy to me as there was no-one around to help. Coffee machine always broken / out of service. We tried making one and it turned out to be a disaster. The day after, he just kept pointing at the sign (out of service). Or maybe they just couldn't be bothered making it for the guests. They arranged the transfers (at a cost of course) to and from Istanbul Airport – that was smooth with no issues. Overall, this was totally different to the experience we had elsewhere in Istanbul and Turkey in general. We wouldn’t return again.
