We had a change of itinerary which meant that the hotel we booked was not in the ideal location for us and meant lot of going back and forth and as we had not booked free cancellation were able to modify or cancel the booking. There are places to eat nearby and a nice high street for breakfast, food, restaurants but not any convenience stores. There is a nice promenade for a walk however its a bit of a mission to cross to the other side of the busy road due to the fence. So you have to walk over the manned bridge. From there its a 1.5hours walk to Sultanahmet. There is no hotel shuttle so the only other option to get to the main sights is by taxi. In the winter time its not as bad maybe 10 minutes to Sultanahmet and 20 minutes to Galata Tower. The hotel is actually pretty decent, clean, bar area with free biscuits, luggage area. I wasn't too keen on the requirement to insert your card in the lift to use it, it had us confused esp as no one told us. They serve nice range of food at decent prices. The room was big enough for a couple, with all the standard mod cons like kettle, shower, free WIFI and also had a convenient chair, desk and couch. It also had a free safe which was easy to use and enough storage area. Room was clean and found the bed pretty comfortable. The sea view was great, maybe a room higher up might have been better.

I stayed for several days while waiting for my assigned ship. The accommodation is very good. Food is nice. The staff are helpful and very accommodating. The room is clean and the housekeeping checks everyday if you need anything or want to clean your room. I would say the best stay I had in Istanbul hotel so far.

tinjauan objektif daripada seorang yang juga pentadbir hotel tinggal di sini pada hari lahir saya. Tiada pujian untuk menghormati hari lahir, tetapi mungkin ini adalah polisi hotel. Sekarang perkara utama Penyambut Tetamu bekerja untuk 5+. semua kakitangan sangat ramah dan sopan. semuanya dilakukan untuk keselesaan saya. Pasti akan mengesyorkan hotel ini. pemandangan dari bilik adalah indah. segala-galanya di hotel ini sangat lazat dan bahagian yang sangat besar. semuanya hebat!!! terima kasih kepada semua kakitangan untuk penginapan yang indah

Good points: The staff are very friendly. The restaurant is located on the top floor providing great views all the way round although the windows need cleaning. The leisure facility is quite good. Bad or not so good points: At breakfast, if you want an omlette, the staff have to be asked. There are no signs however to indicate this. Usually, five-star hotels have a person in the restaurant cooking these to order. I have stayed at the nearby hotel, Uranus and there is absolutely no comparison, the breakfast there is far superior. Although the leisure facility is quite good, the soap dispensers within the showers are empty and look like they have never had any contents. The pool water is below temperature. I would rate this hotel 3.5-4 star but certainly not 5.

As a Wyndham Rewards Diamonds nem member traveling well over 60 nights a year my reviews are always based on constructive criticism in order to better all Wyndham properties. This property I have no idea where to start my constructive criticism!!!!! Wow what a disaster, it’s much easier for me to list them as a list in the hopes management will print it and cover it with their staff and try to salvage what’s left of this property!!! 1. Few employees wore name tags making it impossible to distinguish them from guests, smart move though to avoid complaints against individual employees 2. You had one setting on your AC (on/off) as they are centrally controlled 3. Internet, 5mbps or pay 2 euros a day for 25mbps!!!! 4. 2.5 hours to get a bottle of water delivered to my room 5. $1 (8TL) proudly advertised all over the lobby for a bottle of water or you can pick it across the street for 1TL 6. Hotel is contracted for a hair transplant clinic, expect many foreign men seeking cheap transplant with zero respect to other guests especially female ones. 7. Valet employees were very rude, wore no name tag, yet insisted on taking your keys, so you have to hope they actually work for the hotel. Now the manager responding to these comments with a standard google translated response please don’t do that to me as I am sure you can see my travel history and you won’t be able to blame me for the horrible service like you do others. Get you act together and start caring for your guest and deliver the expected Wyndham style service and stop whining about every negative feedback you get.
