Sadly I only stayed in this elegant hotel for one night on my return home from an extended month in Europe. It is comfortable and very well located. My only quibble is the view from my balcony was not exactly beautiful as I stared straight into the ramshackle roof of a neighbourly building. The bar on the top floor is a must with a gorgeous view of the vibrant Bosporus. What really makes this place special is the warmth and sincerity of the staff. Rarely do I highlight individuals but Valeria on the front desk is a rich asset. She is friendly and hospitable to all and makes everyone feel welcome. So five stars for the hotel and six for Valeria!

Even before we arrived, the Orientbank Hotel was providing great service. I emailed with hotel staff in advance of our trip to arrange car service from the airport, and they were very helpful. Once we arrived, late at night after two long flights, we were greeted at the hotel with such warmth and care. While checking in, I mentioned that we were tired and hungry, as our second flight hadn't served any dinner, and the front desk team put together a bag of sandwiches and snacks for us to take with us to our room. It was such a kind gesture and totally indicative of the quality of service at this hotel. Everytime we came and went, the lobby team asked us how we were and if there was anything we needed. Doors were held open with a smile. I asked for advice on using a kiosk to buy an Istanbulkart, since we wanted to make the most of public transit, and the front desk staff walked me through the process in detail. Everyone here was just so very nice, in a way that felt genuine and lovely. Huge thanks to all of the staff at Orientbank Hotel -- you are all amazing! Our room was on the fourth floor and was generously sized and nicely decorated. Water was provided in the room, which I always appreciate. We were perfectly comfortable and slept very well. In the mornings, we took advantage of the amazing hotel breakfast. The Turkish Breakfast comes with an incredible amount of food, but it was all delicious and offered such a great array of choices. It felt really indulgent and special. We also had dinner at the hotel on our last night there, and it was delicious. Don't miss going up to the rooftop. The view is spectacular. I loved that this hotel was so convenient to every place we wanted to go. It's right around the corner from the Egyptian Market, and just beyond that you can get the tram or the ferry anywhere in Istanbul. We were so glad we chose this hotel, and it made our stay in Istanbul even more memorable. If returning to Istanbul, I would definitely stay here again.

L'hôtel est incroyablement bien situé et il l'architecture est vraiment jolie . Les chambres sont un brin vieillissante mais sincèrement je n'ai pas compris pourquoi cet hôtel était si mal noté sur les sites de réservation car rapport qualité prix il est super et vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Pour le p'tit dej je n'ai pas essayé celui de l'hôtel car je le trouve très onéreux.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Istanbul. The rooms are not very big, however the hotel is spacious. Everything is clean. Breakfast that is included in the room is not very good. We went early to breakfast and the restaurant was extremely cold as they didn't turn on the AC ahead. The view from that restaurant is splendid.

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Everyone at the hotel was super helpful and the breakfast was great. The view of the mosque from the hotel was beautiful and the walk to the grand bazaar wasn't a lot. We even booked for one more night on our way back to Istanbul and the manager helped us do this easily. They kept our luggage for 8 days while we visited other parts of Turkey and this was very kind of them. They helped us deal with overcharging taxi drivers. All in all, I would surely stay in this hotel when I visit Istanbul again.

Только....у меня вопрос к руководству, это же какое нужно иметь отношение к бизнесу, чтобы так все запустить. Отель внутри старенький, но почему он такой грязный и это загрезнялось со временем. Я говорю не только о номерах, но и других местах отеля. Для мебели нужен просто человек с отвёрткой. Мебель в номере сломана и грязная. Я с собой тряпку вожу, протираю. И это я жил в трёх номерах. Но всё равно спасибо за всё.

Pro: Best location, close either to the old town, or Galata Bridge, and Beyolgu. Hotel lies on a hillside, with perfect view to the whole Istanbul. Roof teracce and the pool give you a chance to take a brake during exploring the crowded city. View and te vibe is breathtaking. Breakfast gorgeous, staff is helpful, and the hotel is really well maintained. Definitely recommend! Contra: If you choose the cheapes room, don't expect for any magic. You'll get a dark room in a separate building in a basement floor. If you'don't spend too much time in the room, it's OK, but be prepared. Room cleanliness wasn't good, and there was problem with the wifi.
