I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amethyst Hotel in Aksaray, Fatih, Istanbul and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The hotel not only exceeded my expectations but also left a lasting impression. The standout feature of my stay was undoubtedly the impeccable cleanliness throughout the entire hotel. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in housekeeping was truly commendable. One of the highlights of my stay was the delightful breakfast spread offered by the hotel. The breakfast selection was diverse and catered to a variety of tastes, ensuring a satisfying start to each day of my stay. Freshly baked pastries, a variety of fruits, and a selection of both local and international dishes were on offer, leaving me spoiled for choice each morning. The staff at Amethyst Hotel were another highlight of my experience. They were not only professional and attentive but also genuinely friendly and eager to assist with any request or inquiry. Their hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to my stay, making me feel like a valued guest. The location of the hotel in Aksaray, Fatih, was also convenient for exploring Istanbul. It provided easy access to public transportation and was within reasonable distance of many of the city's popular attractions. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, taken to our room (small but functional) and everything was explained well. This was a corner room with a lovely sunset view, firm but comfortable bed as well as a coffee station and small fridge. The room was a tad dated, but clean. The breakfast selection was large with many interesting items. It was our first time in Turkey and we loved the strange (for us) choices at breakfast. The pancakes every morning were my ultimate favourite. The hotel is 5 min walk from the Metro and 3 min walk to the nearest tram stop, which was very convenient. It's just off the main tourist area, with lots of interesting local restaurants nearby as well as a restaurant with a fantastic rooftop bar for watching the sunset. The wifi was good throughout and overall we enjoyed our stay. We did not try the pool and were out mostly, so for our needs (sleep, shower, coffee) we would choose this hotel again.

Dia seorang penyambut babi Tetapi wanita itu sebelum ini hebat dan juga budak lelaki loceng yang lain.

This hotel is in the historic section of Istanbul and within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar. It was our last stop on a bus tour of Türkiye. I walked in the evening to the “blue mosque” after sundown, because it was closed the week before. It took me an hour (2 km each direction) but I felt very safe on the busy street down the hill and then following the tram line all the way. The rooms are small but clean, dinner and breakfast were adequate and generous.

Hotel is in a good location 15 minutes walk to major tourist sites. First room they put us in was next to the lift so everytime the lift moved it felt and sounded like an earthquake. They moved us immediately which was good to a bigger room. The internet in this hotel is non existent it only barely works in the reception. I complained several times and a technician was sent but it did not improve. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeper/maid was very good and very polite. Towels looked like they had not been changed since the 1980s all falling apart. Water was cold unless u left it on for 5 minutes to worm up and water pressure was poor. There was no breakfast available for the time we were there we were told to go to the next hotel. The reception staff did not speak good English and were rude and not listening to what I was saying, telling me ”you are wrong” when I was clearly right, he was just talking about something else. The only saving grace for this hotel was the porters especially sabrt who was polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable of the local area and could bot have helped us more. I suggest to the management if they are reading this that they put the porters on reception and the receptionist as porters. The porters speak good English and have manners and know how to speak to people. If it had not been for Sabrt then this would have been a complete disaster. Thank you sabrt keep up the good work it was a pleasure meeting you. From the big guy.

Clean rooms, close location for Fetih district, but still some 600 meter walking distance to Tram. If you fancy living in old district, this is the place to be. But after a few days, you may wish to move to the more affluent areas so you can experience the modern Istanbul. Service is good, front desk is quite helpful. Value for money .

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April 2022, we first intended to be here for a couple of days only but were pleasantly satisfied with all we were offered so we extended the visit for 4 night more. We were given better rooms than we have booked, by the way. The staff at a hotel is very accommodating, solved all our questions quickly, the breakfast if nice with rich choice of greens, cheeses, sausages, omlets, hot food and yummy Turkish helva. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet place in historical Fatih district with walking distance to Grand bazaar, Ayay Sifia, Blue mosque and other sights. This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Istanbul. The rooms are not very big, however the hotel is spacious. Everything is clean. Breakfast that is included in the room is not very good. We went early to breakfast and the restaurant was extremely cold as they didn't turn on the AC ahead. The view from that restaurant is splendid.

Holiday Inn Istanbul City, an exceptional hotel, IHG Group! We stayed there in June 2022, 9 days! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS reception staff!!! We received, as it was my birthday, a business room of 55 square meters! With living room, bedroom, exceptional! Pool view! Also, the cleanliness is 100%! Very good location, right in the tram station, which has a separate line, so transport is not limited by road congestion. A bit disturbing is the fact that, sometimes, we had to leave the pool at 3 or 4 p.m. because sometimes they had wedding parties organized in the pool area. But these parties are very nice, not disturbing, because at 11 pm they were over. It is very easy to reach Florya beach, in approx. 30 minutes by MetroBus. We recommend!

it is good location besides aksaray tram Station and havaist bus station. office for money changing is in the ground floor. many mini market around it. many restaurants are available in the area. the room is very nice, has its private bathroom and safe box, always clean and tidy. breakfast is less than usual but you can find something to eat. no swimming pool or sauna in the hotel. I recommend this hotel for business travelers.
