"I booked this hotel for three days, and this review is for the third day of my extended stay. I specifically requested a 'Smart Choice King' room. This particular room faced the street, but the front desk staff assigned me a higher floor, so it was relatively quiet. While the wallpaper showed a bit of wear, the room was overall very clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the air conditioning took a little while to heat up. I believe this room type is the best; the sink and toilet are in a separate small compartment, and there's no mirror facing the bed. I didn't take photos of this specific room type, but its general appearance is consistent with the descriptions. All the staff members were very kind and patient."

"The first time I came to Hangzhou with my good friend, I chose Chengbei Wenlan Hotel for accommodation. Because it was close to the Dragon Boat Festival, there was a sachet activity in the hotel lobby, which could be DIY by yourself, which was particularly festive. 👍I would like to praise the hotel staff for calling in advance before checking in and communicating with me about the room requirements, so we were very satisfied with the hygiene and orientation of the room. 🍽️I attach great importance to the quality of the hotel breakfast when I go out to play. I remembered that the Xiaohe Historical and Cultural Street introduced by the staff was about 1.2 kilometers away from the hotel, so it was a good opportunity to walk around and take photos and check in. "In summary, aside from the excellent service, everything else was really bad! I feel like I was ripped off by Atour; they gave me a terrible experience, and it disgusted me. Facilities: Poor, quite ordinary. The facilities aren't exactly outdated, but they're like those in a typical 200 RMB hotel. In one suite, the living room light didn't even have a separate switch; you had to turn it on and off with all the other lights in the room. What's the point of a suite? The bathroom's wet and dry separation was terrible; I was practically soaked after showering, and the water even seeped into the room. And the bed in the suite was only 1.8 meters wide—unbelievable! Cleanliness: The cleaning service was okay, but the room facilities themselves were very basic. Some drains and renovations weren't properly cleaned, making it feel very dirty. Environment: The hotel is on Wenyi Road, 7 kilometers from West Lake, not too far, not too close. There are places to eat nearby, but overall, they're just average. I highly recommend the vegetarian restaurant across the street—it's cheap and delicious. Service: Service is the only aspect of this hotel that I was satisfied with. But that can't hide the fact that this hotel left a very bad overall impression on me, and I will never stay at Atour's X-series hotels again."

"Staying in the West Lake Scenic Area in Hangzhou was an absolute delight! The environment is simply beautiful; it truly felt like living in a forest 🪴. The air is incredibly fresh, which instantly put me in a fantastic mood! Nearby, you'll find attractions such as Nanping Hill ⛰️, Leifeng Pagoda, Prince Bay Park, and the China Academy of Art. Most importantly, it's just a short walk to West Lake, perfect for a leisurely stroll or watching the sunset! My overall experience at Yuhuangshan Manor was exceptional. Upon check-in, I was immediately offered water, a thoughtful and welcoming touch that made me feel very comfortable. There's also a charming little garden downstairs, perfect for an after-dinner stroll. The hotel is completely enveloped by lush greenery, which created a truly serene and pleasant atmosphere. The surroundings are beautiful and remarkably quiet. I particularly appreciated the subtle ambient lighting by the bed – a thoughtful detail that helped me drift off to sleep very quickly. The service was also impeccable and attentive, truly reinforcing the idea that a comfortable stay and good mood are what truly matter. 🥰 Taking a taxi to nearby restaurants or shopping areas was quick and easy, which was another big plus for me!"

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, located right within the resort. I especially want to commend the lovely and charming front desk staff, Judy. She called me in advance to confirm and helped upgrade us to a suite, and even turned on the AC to warm up the room about half an hour before we checked in. She also assisted with a late check-out before we left. Her service was polite, kind, and absolutely perfect! Also, a shout-out to a super tall, nearly 1.9m handsome guy (I forgot to ask his name, but on the evening of December 3rd, around 9 PM, after we checked in at the front desk, he escorted us to our room and introduced all the facilities. He was very polite and thorough). All the staff, including housekeepers and security, were courteous, warm, and helpful. The upgraded suite was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bed and comfy pillows. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices, both Chinese and Western. The freshly baked *shaobing* and freshly ground coffee were particularly impressive, and the soy milk and regular milk were fragrant and delicious. The hotel is super close to Liangzhu Museum, just over a ten-minute walk (it's a bit of a distance to the archaeological park, so you'd need a taxi). You can also walk about 10 minutes to visit the exquisite and artistic Yuniu Market. We happened to run into Li Yitong filming there, which was quite lively."

The bedding and towels are of comfortable quality, clean, and neatly arranged. **Service:** Before arrival, a dedicated butler reaches out via WeChat to discuss your basic needs, making the check-in process incredibly smooth and convenient. Throughout our stay, communication via WeChat was easy and prompt. During our two-day stay, we were offered both Chinese and Western breakfast sets, which were rich in variety and thoughtfully prepared. **Facilities:** We stayed in a twin room, and while the bathroom and bedding were very comfortable, the overall room layout was rather disappointing. There were only two small chairs, with no desk or sofa. The bathroom features GROHE brand fixtures, and the toiletries are by 'Cha Ling,' which really highlights the hotel's upscale positioning and sophisticated style. However, the lighting in the vanity area wasn't ideal for applying makeup, and the absence of a magnifying mirror and a full-length mirror was quite inconvenient. While the smart lighting controls were designed quite user-friendly, their placement relative to the bedside wasn't very logical, often requiring a bit of a stretch to reach them."

"This is a very unique B&B. I found a temporary place to rest while hiking Jiuxi with my friends. I didn't expect it to exceed my expectations. I was very satisfied with the layout of the room. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let the sunset shine into the room, which was very cozy. The sanitation was also very clean, and there were no dead corners. It was really comfortable to fall asleep to the sound of cicadas at night. It's a good choice to come to Jiuxi this season. The Qiantang River is about 100 meters away, and it's very comfortable to take a walk in the evening. The star lights in the courtyard light up at night, which is very atmospheric. If I wasn't rushing back to work, I would have liked to stay a few more days. It's really good and highly recommended."
