"This business hotel under the InterContinental brand, located by the Suzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, has been my go-to choice for its consistent quality, so I booked with confidence again. This time, I reserved an additional room for a friend traveling with me.
The hotel provides a washing machine and a fitness room. However, the dryer was somewhat inefficient—even after three cycles, the clothes were still not completely dry, which fell short compared to other amenities.
Some hardware fixtures may be showing signs of wear, such as the bathroom door seal not closing tightly. Even when shutting the door gently, it made a loud noise, which was quite startling. Additionally, due to the significant temperature difference between the cold outdoors and warm indoors, coupled with insufficient air circulation, the air conditioning could not be switched to cooling mode during the daytime as the outdoor temperature was too low.
Other aspects were satisfactory, especially the pleasant room ambiance and reliable hot water supply."
