I honestly don't even know where to start with this review because my stay at Rajmahal Palace was pretty incredible. I was here for my close friend's wedding, and I travel A LOT (like, probably too much), but this place is different. You know how sometimes you stay somewhere fancy and it feels a bit stiff and formal? This place is the opposite kind of. Don't get me wrong - it's incredibly luxurious (I mean, I stayed in the Queen Elizabeth suite, which is exactly as incredible as it sounds!), but what really got me was how it felt like being welcomed into someone's amazing home rather than just another hotel. I have to talk about the people most because they literally made me emotional when I had to leave. Not sure I’ve ever felt that way leaving a hotel before. But that's what the entire staff was like here. Sumit -My mom has very high standards when it comes to service, and she turned to me one day and said he was the kindest person who had ever served her. That's not even the best part though - there was this shy little boy staying there, maybe 10 or 11 years old, and watching him with engage with him was lovely. He treated this kid like a little brother and just made him feel so special. Manish at the bar - this guy is just incredible at what he does. Like, yes, his cocktails are amazing but it's his personality that makes you want to hang out at the bar. By the end of our stay, it felt like catching up with a friend rather than ordering drinks from a bartender. We actually exchanged contacts because he's just that kind of person you want to stay in touch with. Bishal - took me on this fascinating tour of the property and went WAY out of his way to help me with random things, like getting my shoes cleaned off-property. Abhi - this guy has a sixth sense for knowing exactly when you need something. He was always there making sure everything was perfect with the food and service, but in this really natural way. Bharti - she was incredibly kind. She gave my mom this incredible personal tour of the property, and seeing them together, you'd think they were old friends catching up. She has this way of making you feel very special. They've done this amazing job of keeping all the historical charm while adding these splashes of color and modern touches. They've managed to make it feel super comfortable and current while keeping all the incredible historical details. And the food - everything was just spot on, whether it was traditional Rajasthani dishes (which were mind-blowing and my favorites) or international cuisine which my sister preferred on a couple occasions, she ended up loving the quesadilla randomly. But I keep coming back to the people. You know how sometimes you stay at a super fancy hotel and everything's perfect but something's missing? Nothing's missing here. These people - the entire team - they don't just do their jobs perfectly, they make you feel like you belong there. I know this review is getting super long but
