Hotel berhampiran Midsummer AB, Jakobsberg

First impression - when we got into the apartment we booked we were shocked to see it was much, much smaller than presented in the pictures - see attached presentation pics vs reality. We immediately went to the reception to show them the obvious difference, when one of the front desk officers, named Joel was quite deffensive and strongly rejected my entitled claim to get the proper apartment as per my booking. He said the pics in the presentation were made with wide angles, therefore we need to accept this is the correct room, no mistake was dine. I insisted upon the obvious but I had no one to talk to in order to fix my problem. Later on I made the same complaint to Trip.com - they tried to reason with Joel, but got the same nagative attitude. Joel saga doesn't end here, unfortunatelly... The whole administration of the building might be a bit control freak. Why? Because Guests can not have full control of their room. You can not adjust the air conditioning yourself - you have to call the reception to adjust the room temperature for you. You can not open any window - you have to ask the reception for the window handle, which guess what? It's only one window handle for all of the rooms in the building and each room gets the handle for 1 hour max or at least so it should be if Joel doesn't have other opinion about it. One evening, upon request, Joel gave me the handle and told me to open the windows quickly and give it back to him fast as others needs it now too. I was shocked of course. ***??? Where is my hour? How am I supposed to close the windows then after? Oh...I have to get downstairs to the reception and get it back so that I vould close my windows. BUT wait!! Joel remembered to fully read the post it his colleague gave him before coming upstairs to my room and saw my room number was last on the list and therefore I can keep the handle for a longer period time. He was doing me a big favor. That was his attitude like. Very unprofessional, cold and really wrong attitude for someone working in hospitality. I am afraid I had to react this time and asked him what is his problem really, as it looks like it has a particular problem with me and therefore to any of my requests to get the proper service and comfort I payed for. Joel's Lady colleague was much nicer and helpful. He should follow her example if he wants to stay in hospitality. I left with a bitter taste and very dissapointed with the whole experience at Biz Apartment Bromma due to this important details of my accomodation there. The Biz Apartment concept is pretty nice though overall, is quite new, the location is indeed a bit far from the city, but within easy reach by metro, which has the station right in front of the building. You need to change at Alvik for the green line towards city center. It is also easy to reach from Arlanda Airport by train up to Solna station and than by metro. Downstairs there is a huge supermarket where you can get anything you need for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The apartment is equiped with everything essential to prepare some meals ( microwave, electric stove, dishwasher, toaster, etc.) The bed was very comfortable. A bit too cold in the room. If I were to get the more spatious apartment as per my booking pics, my own window handle and proper room temperature I would book this place again, no doubt.

Great place to stay centrally in Stockholm. We Walker everywhere and did not take public transportation at all. Fantastic views from the room. We chose a superior room with private bathroom and everything lived up to our expectations. You just have to remember that this is a budget hotel and hostel. Very cheap for a central location in Stockholm. We visited in January, but the room was nice and warm. Bathroom was not heated, but they had placed an electric heater that we turned on while using the bathroom and that was just fine for us. The staff was lovely and allowed us to check in several hours early. We had only asked if we could leave our bag, but they had the room available. Probably possible due to low occupancy in January. I loved the unique stay and would definitely recommended. Would like to visit again in the spring or summertime.

I can imagine the price was reduced since it was corona times, therefore reasonable for being in Stockholm (in Solna actually). A bit ”off” for the tourist, but we stayed there while visiting family, so for us the location was good. No breakfast buffet of course, but a ”breakfast bag” that was plenty. Nice staff, with so few guests they had time for a little chat. I can imagine that the hotel focusses on businesspeople, it was a double room - but just. No problem, we only used it for the nights, but there were - for example - only room to hang one towel to dry.

Travelled with my Mum, the room was nice and modern, however the window was left open for quite a while it seems, so the room was chilly to start with but it heated up quite quickly. It was good to have a bath (in twin rooms) and good breakfast selection with a few vegan specific items. Location is convenient as it's just a few metro stops from the centre and there is Lidl and shopping centre near by. Be aware though that getting to the Arlanda Airport is not as quick or straight forward as it seems from proximity on the map, so either plan the exact route ahead of time or a taxi was not too expensive - £28 one way.

Super fijn hotel op een top locatie naast T-Centralen. Vanaf Arlanda luchthaven met de Arlanda Express naar het centrum en dan 5min lopen. Alle bezienswaardigheden binnen bereik. Kamers zijn mooi, aan de wat kleine kant, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid, goed en gevarieerd. Het hotel heeft een zonneterras op de 11e verdieping met een mooi uitzicht over de stad. Ook een leuke sky-bar voor drankje of diner. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Fantastic modern hotel with impressive public areas and services. They have an ultra modern gym and terrific sauna above the front desk. They have a play area near the front desk and a place to have breakfast and meals. The staff was very accommodating with Linus and Marijn offer personable and excellent service. Room is modern, but could use some artwork as it's very austere. Also the bathroom is one of those half glass affairs that the Europeans love, so the shower is going to spray all over the bathroom from the open back end. Also there was no soap dish which was frustrating and surprising. Nearby is a great Italian restaurant Nonno. Pro tip, if you're coming from the airport don't take a taxi as they'll charge you the full amount to go in a Stockholm and not to this hotel which is 10 minutes away. Take an Uber.

Reception check my booking wrong sometimes,I did pay online,they always say I didn’t pay,it’s reservation.untill I show my payment,then they said oh,yes,I can see you paid 😬that’s not good for customers.room not open windows,smell very bad when 6 people in the room 😬 I can’t get enough oxygen during sleep,then I can’t get up easily 😬

We liked it very much, large, clean room, large, bright windows, curtains and drapes for the present light, very effective mirrors, comfortable temperature, efficient ventilation, I don't know when it was built but everything looks new. All services are superlative. Kind staff, always smiling, everywhere, reception, restaurant, breakfast. The connection with the city center is very fast, with a lot of trains, in 10-15 minutes, with 40, 41, 42, 43, etc. Also, last but not least, I think it is the best price in town. If we have another chance, we will stay here again when we go to Stockholm.

Tophotel op een 8 tal minuutjes van de metro, en zelfs een busstop recht voor de deur. Alles heel verzorgd en netjes onderhouden. Supervriendelijk personeel en een zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt. Wij hebben ervan genoten. Zeker een aanrader!
