كانت تجربة رائعة والغرف والسويت كانت جميلة وواسعة ومطلها كان خلاب و مبهر ( مُطل عل البحر) ،، ولكن هناك عيب واحد فقط و هو تأخر في إحضار الطعام الى الغرفة ( room service) ولكن اغلب التجربة كانت جميلة واعيد تجربتي للسكن مرة اخرى فيه ،،،و كانوا الموظفين في الاستقبال و الـ staff كانوا متعاونين معنا ،،، شكراً لكم shangri-la على حسن الاستقبال ،،،

Amazing hotel with a particularly attentive and sophisticated staff. Well done to the HR team. The buffet is exquisite et and delightful. The decor processes a lot of finesse. A special thank you to Dennis, the bell boy who was more than helpful. This is what we can exceeding guest expectation. Please reward him.

If you’re a frequent business traveler like me, choosing the right hotel without compromising on your loyalty points is always a challenge, especially in cities, where there aren’t enough good hotels to begin with, which is the case with Jeddah. However, I think you’ll be able to get both at Shangri-La Jeddah. Pros: - Location - Breakfast - Interior Design - Room Amenities - Service and Staff - Shower water-pressure Cons: - Pillow case smell - Mattress too firm

A Really nice and pleasant stay in a fantastic hotel. Incredible staff making you feel special in every moment. Particular compliments to Nabil, a room servant for his outstanding customer-facing skills. Congratulations and continue to be outstanding.

Amazing room. Spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. Very comfortable bed and well designed lounge area. Bathroom just as spectacular. However service was a little bit of a let down, the turndown service was only provided on one night, no one showed up the next! What was however particularly disappointing was the food. Iftar, was poorly organized, none of the food was labeled so it was impossible to know what you were eating and to be honest nothing (apart from the salads and soup) was very tasty - very disappointing especially for the price. Room service was similarly poor - a small club sandwich with no garnishing, steak which was overdone, drinks without a bottle opener - really disappointing for a hotel at this level.

A hotel is more than a nice building and comfortable rooms , its about feeling welcomed and taken care of . In this luxury establishment the staff are not trained in hospitality at all . Their pool is not attended by staff. The staff charges for things we didn't use such as laundry and breakfast for young kids (even though they told us the kids are free of charge) . Even though , I tired to air my frustration to the manager , nothing is resolved . Above the awful stay , when we checked out , the. staff didn't even ask the standard " how was your stay?" What shame

The amenities in this hotel are top notch . However , the service there is not deserving to a 2 star hotel . Our stay in the hotel was disastrous in so many levels . It started when we checked in after 3PM to find out that my booking request of having all the rooms in one floor is not met (even though it was confirmed by the guest services). So to accommodate our request , we were forced to upgrade to room that is 50% more expensive then my original booking . Over that , we had to wait 3 hours for the rooms to be ready even though we came after the check-in time . When I aired my frustration to the manager , he wanted to make it up for us by making the breakfast on the hotel free of charge. When we went for the breakfast the next day , we were charged for breakfast fully !! The horror show continued in many occasions including : - While at the pool , I was there for two hours , no staff was present to serve us any water , food or towels . we had to leave the pool just because we were dehidrated - The other time we were in the pool with the kids , we were locked out in the pool for twenty minutes trying to get inside the building . The staff forgot to keep the door open . - The TV in all rooms were scrambled in middle of an important match my kids were looking forward to - The laundry service delivered clothes that was not for us even though we didn't have any of our clothes washed and insisted that this is our laundry . Worst hospitality experience , never again

While i was much looking forward to stay at the hotel with my family . We had our experience ruined before setting foot in our rooms . While my original booking asked to be in the same floor for 3 rooms in which two are connected (for the kids) . As soon as we arrived and asked about the arrangement we asked for and was confirmed with the guest services the day of our booking , we were surprised that that won’t be possible . Instead of trying to accommodate our needs with the same rates we booked with , they Forcibly upgraded us to a higher tier room and charged us the difference of the upgrade which amounted to more then 10,000 SAR !!! The real slap in the face was when I tried to air my frustration to the manager about this ludicrous forced upgrade due to guest services incompetence. The manager who promised to find a way to resolve this , his answer was a 12 piece box of chocolate and a letter . The manager then told us that the breakfast will be on the house . When me and the family went to breakfast the next day , we were surprised that we had to pay full . over that , when I was in the pool , I stayed there for two hours and NO STAFF was there to ask if I needed water or anything to drink. I. had to leave the pool because I was dehydrated and no one was serving us
