Ulasan Astar Hotel

Large room. Excellent amenities. Plenty of good restaurants near hotel. Bus stops to Seongsan and/or Seogwipo is 5mins walk away. Walkable to Dongmun market and near to Cherry blossom road. Great buffet breakfast spread.

The location is near to the airport and there are few bus stops in walking distance from hotel. Cleanliness is not that good though, I found a little cockroach in the bathroom.

This was my fourth or fifth stay at Astar in the past four years. The room is always clean with enough space to open a suitcase easily. Comfortable beds with good pillows. Clean bathroom with excellent bidet. Noise is kept out. The lighting is very good. Nice food downstairs. Courteous front desk staff. I will be staying here again when I visit Jeju in the future.

Location is right smack in the city of jeju. Airport is just 20mins away by bus. A convenient location for solo traveller.

Location is good as it is quite close to city center. The room is spacious.

Staff are patient and helpful with my enquiries despite the language barrier. Location is also strategic as it is surrounded with bus stop that could bring you to many places of interest if travelling without vehicle. For food, it is also within walking distance from grilled pork to ox soup to bakery. The area is also quiet and peaceful with minimum human and vehicle traffic after 2100hrs. My favourite eating place is the bakery shop 'tours les jours' which offers fresh bread and nice coffee followed by the eateries in front of the bus terminal station (required some walking of about 10 to 15mins) which offers local food and price. Overall, I am very satisfied in my stay with Astar.

it's a good place to stay. but to charge for extra pillows can feel a bit weird.

I always stay here when I’m in jeju city. Great location and easy walk into the center.

room was really clean and pretty spacious (booked the one with 1 single bed and 1 double bed), staff are very friendly, location was near airport (~15min drive)! rented a car and parking at the hotel was free. very value for money with the level of cleanliness and service provided. there’s also a convenience store at level 1 which was very convenient. only thing to take note is that you have to pay to use the sauna and gym.

Great location for anyone who wants to travel around Jeju by bus. There’re also quite a lot options for eating/cafes etc. Staff was nice and hadn’t any need or issue during my stay. Cleanliness was just okay. Next time I’ll come to Jeju I might stay here again.

Our bed was quite low and mattress was slightly sunken. The reception staff were friendly and professional.

The Hotel is in a good location, it is within many locations for shopping and food. If you are driving, there is an underground parking and level 1 parking behind the hotel. Room facilities is good, and clean. Friendly staff, staff is able to speak basic English, there is a convenient store (nice to CU) located at the ground level.
