It’s a modern and very sleek beautiful hotel. The employees are nice and helpful. However, the spa and gym are out of the hotel. You need to cross a bridge over the Mamilla Mall to get there but entering back, you need to ring the intercoms. The spa is very good, they give 10% off to hotel guest and the prices are very good once you convert it to dollars. The breakfast is a big buffet and is included in the stay. Overall, I would give the hotel a 4.8 star rating. We had a beautiful view of the old city. The hotel is located in the center of Jerusalem so you can get to places easily.

Just returned from my 13th visit to the superb Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. Special thanks to Ihab from the front office who was very courteous and extremely helpful. Thanks to other staff from the front desk: Mohammed, Paulo, Assem and Karim. David, from the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Security team, always with a nice smile and ready to help in any way possible. And a nice welcome at the hotel entrance by Ghoul and Neuber. Special mention to Maamoon and Fuad, the 2 professional Maitre d’hotel who continuously welcomed me with a warm smile and constantly went beyond to cater to all of my requests. And thanks to Hassan for assisting with my custom requests. And thank you Ira from the Dining room and thanks to Lila for the exceptional in-room dining service. It is always exciting to see the new foods added to the extraordinary Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem breakfast. New long baguette rolls. The tasty Matjes herring. And a yummy new croissant with an almond cream filling and crushed pistachios on top of the croissant. Mouth-watering breakfast. Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. The Dream Hotel of the Middle East.

كنا به انا وزوجي الاسبوع الماضي.. الفنظق قريب لكل المناطق الجميله بالقدس.. ذهبنا للبلده القديمه و المسجد الاقصى.. الغرف جدا رائعه و اطلاله جميله..و وجبه الفطور و العشاء.. الطعام جدا لذيذ..و يوجد موقف للسيارات ..انه فندق رائع

Beautiful classic hotel. Excellent service. Quiet rooms. Aircondioning was just right. Beautiful view from the 8th floor premium room with bacony. Rich breakfast. We took a deal with free entrance to the business lounge where they changed the menus 3 times a day.

I just returned from one of many visits to Israel and had an amazing stay at the King David Hotel. A classic with outstanding service, a room overlooking the old city and a world class swimming pool. The breakfast are fit for a king, so that you may not be hungry for lunch! Everything you would expect from a leading hotel and more.

My second review after a number of years staying here - and unfortunately things have started to slide! We stayed in a Family Room for four nights at the end of August. Now - I know there is a terrible war underway and we were one of very few tourists to visit Israel this summer, and I am also making a concession for the fact that the hotel has to remain viable, but they have clearly offered huge discounts to attract locals to the hotel, and unfortunately the calibre of other guests has rapidly declined. There is always chaos by the tiny roof top pool, but it was insanity over the weekend - like a tightly packed fish market. Breakfast (which is normally one of the best in Israel) was utter chaos and most disappointing, the service levels, normally so high have just vanished. Also sadly, the wonderful rooms are starting to decline - our room (724) had a battered vanity table, tatty and dirty curtains, damaged windows, weak A/C and wasn't properly clean. They also seem to have stopped offering a stocked mini bar, and we repeatedly asked one night for them to make up the bed in the lounge, and when we got back to the hotel at midnight, it had still not been made. There was also a revolting smell in the corridor that we reported twice, which was never rectified. Sadly, we will be staying at the Kind David or the Waldorf from now.

Another wonderful stay at The American Colony Hotel, we stayed 6 nights in this fabulous place. (Our third visit). End May perfect time of the year, weather wise. The staff are lovely people, very helpful. The whole setting is little paradise. Make this your first choice, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel in September. The staff is much more friendly, accommodating and aiming to please than in previous visits. The room was lovely with a nice balcony to watch the old city from. The room was comfortable and. the bathroom clean and spacious. The gym is well maintained and well equipped. A special thank you to Samar, breakfast wait staff, for taking the time to teach me the tricks of coffee making. Breakfast was delicious with something to please everybody. Finally, Eviator from the concierge department was helpful in making touring arrangements. Overall, would be glad to return on next visit.
