Wuliu Hotel is located on the edge of Shaxi Old Town, which means you will be conveniently located and have a restful night sleep. The hotel is beautiful and well managed. We would definitely stay again! We loved the stay and the old town.

A must stay place if u visit to Shaxi Ancient Town

Location is great — just at the edge of the street where cars can go so we only needed to pull our luggage for less than a minute. The place is very well-run. They are organized and have materials in both English and Chinese to ensure they cook the breakfast you prefer (they give you a choice of Chinese or Western breakfast). With our family of 4, we got 2 Chinese and 2 Western breakfasts and they all turned out well because they make them fresh as you sit down. They also have a balcony and tea room on the second floor which is so peaceful and calming to be in. Highly recommend! You can probably find cheaper lodging elsewhere (such as inside the ancient town itself) but the quality and proximity of this inn makes it worth it.

Wuliu is such a beautiful hotel in the village and the vibe matches with the quiteness and slow-temple of the village as well. The staff is so friendly and has amazing Chinese breakfast. We had so much fun and relax there

A lovely hotel in a perfect location in Shaxi village. The staff are very helpful, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped.

I like the courtyard very much. When there are few people, I come to stay here. It is very comfortable and quiet to bask in the sun, drink tea and read books in the courtyard. The bustling tourists outside are also separated. It takes a few minutes to walk out to Yujin Bridge. The room I booked is a twin room, and the bathroom is a bit old. For example, the hair dryer is too old-fashioned and not easy to use. These are not in line with the price of this store. Now domestic small appliances are already very good. For example, Lefen can completely replace Dyson. The prices of the two homestays I stayed in before were lower than this one. The hair dryers were relatively new and there were heated towel racks and so on. I understand that this courtyard has not been renovated in the last one or two years, but the accessories may need to be updated. And the disposable toilet cover is the cheapest plastic one, because I put my own in the car and was too lazy to go to the public parking lot to get it. I used the plastic film in the room. It is normal for the toilet to be heated in winter, but it is very embarrassing after this plastic film is heated. 😅 I suggest that the store change to the homestays I stayed in later, which are all made of paper, and the quality is much better. However, Wuliu Courtyard has its old flavor, and many details still make people like it here.

I've stayed in so many B&Bs, but this is my favorite. The courtyard is built with the Bai people's house, which is quiet and elegant. The room is not big but very comfortable. It has floor heating, so it is more comfortable and not so dry compared to other hotels or B&Bs that only provide heating. The waitress is very honest and enthusiastic, and the breakfast she makes is also very delicious. I like this B&B very much.

A very cozy and comfortable courtyard, very close to the parking lot, no need to carry the suitcase and walk on the stone-filled ancient town road, which is really good! It is also very close to the center of the ancient town. The housekeeper sister is warm and thoughtful, very considerate~~

I really like this B&B. Although it is a B&B, I have experienced the service of a luxury hotel. For breakfast, you can choose not only Chinese food but also Western food, which is very rich. In the evening, there is also goodnight milk🥛. The 24-hour butler service is very considerate. The important thing is that the room has floor heating, which makes it very comfortable to sleep at night~~

I went to the place I always wanted to go and found that Shaxi is very suitable for daydreaming. It is so comfortable to live in Shaxi. We saw a well-reviewed Wuliu Xinsu on Ctrip. It is only two or three minutes away from the parking lot and Dongzhaimen. The inn is a bit like the one where Xu Hongdou lived. It feels great. I woke up in the morning listening to the birds singing. The air is so fresh. I heard from the lady at the front desk that Liu Jia, the teacher of the crew of Going to a Windy Place, and Grandma Wu Yanshu also lived here. The service of this hotel is very good and thoughtful. There is afternoon tea, hot milk before bed, and Chinese or Western breakfast. If you encounter any problems, the housekeeper will help you solve them. This is the best service homestay I have ever stayed in

It is a Chinese courtyard style that I like very much. I heard that teacher Wu Yanshu also lived here when filming "There is Wind". As expected, whether it is the comfort of the room or the 24-hour caring butler service, I like it very much. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious, and there are free fruit snacks. The toiletries in the bathroom are all from Herborist. The room has a humidifier and floor heating. It is also very close to Yujin Bridge and the stage. It is very quiet at night and I slept very well.

The room is big, the facilities are very good, Shaxi is cold, there are floor heating and air conditioning, the bathroom also has heating facilities, you can choose the pillow, and they will give you good night milk, the milk has a strong milky flavor, the waiters are very good, they are locals, the only shortcoming is that the breakfast is average, I feel that I can't ask for so much, it's a very pleasant stay.

The standard courtyard house is in the quaint style of Shaxi. When you wake up in the morning, you can hear the sound of birds and flowing water. The service is very thoughtful. In the evening, they will help us turn on the floor heating, humidifier and send milk to the room. Very considerate.

I visited Shaxi Ancient Town in Yunnan and stayed at the Wuliu Xinsu B&B. I felt very comfortable as soon as I entered. It was equipped with floor heating, smart toilets, and 24-hour butler service. The breakfast was also delicious. It was a local specialty breakfast. There were also Western options. In the evening, there was also sweet water. It was a good choice to come here to relax.
