Beautiful room n nice view from window. I like the field view in front of the window. Very clean. Location on the big street, so the car driver drop me in front of the hotel door, no need to pull luggage. Location outside ancient city, but very close. You can walk.

We used to travel around the world and we understand how important it is to stay in a warm, clean, convenience and welcoming place to make your journey more comfortable and memorable. Miss May Hotel was transformed from a traditional house built by the Bai family. We preserved the unique style of this historic house with a touch of modern amenities. Lokasinya sangat mudah Anda boleh meletakkan kereta anda di Beizhaimen dan berjalan kaki sejauh 80 meter untuk ke sana. Lao Ban dan pemilik juga menyambut kami dengan mesra. Susun atur bilik sangat ber***a dan menarik, dan tilam serta bantal sangat selesa. Disebabkan hari tu hujan renyai-renyai, yang menggigil kesejukan, bilik tu ada pemanas elektrik (mungkin berkualiti tinggi, jadi tak rasa kering atau panas langsung dalam bilik) dan selimut elektrik. , dan tandas juga automatik sepenuhnya. Halamannya juga penuh dengan bunga dan succulents, dan kawasan riadah di tingkat dua sangat fotogenik! Excellent place to stay while in Shaxi, right inside one of the entrances to the old town. The owner of the guesthouse is a wonderful person, always willing to help in anything he can. The rooms are very clean, with nice cozy furniture and good views.

What a great place! It is a bit of a walk down a couple of narrow alleys, but they have a small cart that they carry your luggage on. It is an easy walk to the busy street in the town, but you are far enough from them that you don't hear any noise at all. The women who run this place are very kind and accommodating, it was wonderful from check-in all the way to check-out. Great food, quiet and tranquil location, beautiful rooms with cold AC, and a lovely courtyard with a fish pond. Don't hesitate, this is where you want to stay!

The location of this hotel is literally on the doorstep of the pedestrian zone yet it is still accessible by car. The public car park is also right next door to the hotel. The hotel is decorated in traditional style and is very quiet at night. I liked that the hotel provided electric blankets for the cold nights. The breakfast is delicious and enough to keep you going for most of the day. Helpful staff and a relaxing place to enjoy Shaxi.

Almost everything is good. The room size is decent, location is excellent. The breakfast is fantastic. The service staff are helpful. The only thing i don't like is that the toilet is translucent and can be seen from outside if you forgot to drawn down the curtain which happened to me. It was the most embarrassing thing happened to me in my life. Although there was reminder on the glass, it was easily been ignored. The staff should have mentioned during check-in. I still gave a 5 star because other than this it is a good hotel

A delightful inn with a beautiful courtyard full of blooms, greens and some fishes. The 4 of us were lucky to be there in April being the flowering season. Cosy outdoor areas to enjoy the environment and weather and snacks. Lovely mountain views from the top gazebo.
Great location in a quiet area with comfy room and amenities [heated toilet seat too]. Friendly and courteous staff. Warm milk for the night too. Highly recommend this place.
Short walk to the ancient town to Yujin Bridge, shops, eating places, canola fields and lotus ponds. Flowers blooming everywhere -- delights the heart!

太貼心了！來指定地方接，幫忙拿行李，走得時候也幫忙拿行李。要知道古鎮裏面的路都是石頭路，不好走，還有很多樓梯。走得時候兩個小女孩拖着行李上下樓梯。中午在餐廳上網遠程工作，阿姨見到我忙於工作沒吃飯，主動邀請我一起吃飯。真的好像在家一樣温馨。

YYH_2023To start with, Shaxi is such a precious jewel. The historic preservation collaboration between ETH and Chinese scholars and the locals is impressive. The harmony formed by the nature and the man-made environment is incredible. We wish we had more time to stay and dive deeper.
And we absolutely loved our stay at the Flower Inn. It’s really close to the core of the town yet very quiet and peaceful. The garden is meticulously cared for. The most special is an impressive 2-story library housing the owners’ personal book collections. They recently opened the library to the community a few days a week - a generous way to share knowledge and wisdom, and bring the community closer together.
The owners are very warm, interested in making friends and sharing their experience. I really enjoyed an evening chat with them and listening to the stories about the town’s history, preservation, local lifestyles and much more.
We would love to come back to Shaxi in the future and stay at the Flower Inn again.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is a gem in Shaxi Town and should not be missed. We are happy to have had the opportunity to stay for 1 night, and only wished we had more days in Shaxi. The hotel is in a beautifully restored ancestral home, with rooms that are modern and beautifully appointed with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. The hotel staff from the ladies at the front desk to housekeeping were really friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Shaxi. We appreciated the extra touches such as having warm milk brought to our rooms as a nightcap. Special thanks to Yan Yan who took care of us on our last day and was also our teacher in the Jia Ma wood printing experience. We had a great time during the experience and left Shaxi with a special souvenir.

客房內部風格大氣簡潔自然，原木色最底，家裝為原木色、棕色。此時，躺在床上，藍天白雲躍入眼中，彷彿觸手可及，躺看日出日落，就是最自在的休閑方式了。
小團圓民宿的設計靈感來自於傳統與現代融合，牆上掛着傳統的工藝品，房間裏則是現代化的設施，每一個細節都是經過精心設計，以確保我們能夠在這裏感受到家的温暖和沉浸式的美好。

We discovered a charming new homestay in Shaxi, conveniently located within walking distance of Shaxi Ancient Town, the filming location for the drama series ”Meet Yourself 去有风的地方.” During our visit, we noticed many tourists capturing photos at the various shooting locations, adding a lively atmosphere to the area. Unlike Dali Ancient Town, Shaxi feels less commercialized, which enhances its authentic charm.
One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying a marvelous mushroom hotpot at Tea Horse Road; it was definitely worth every penny. The flavors were exquisite, and the experience was truly memorable.
Our room was clean and well-equipped with modern bathroom amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, one minor discomfort was that the toilet did not have a door, which might be a consideration for some guests.
The owner of the homestay was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They brewed a delightful welcome tea for us and provided hot milk, which was a lovely touch. Additionally, they assisted us in arranging transportation from Shaxi to Lijiang, making our travel plans much easier. Overall, our experience at the homestay was enjoyable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and authentic stay in Shaxi.

Saya amat berterima kasih kepada rumah tangga Yimei Little Fairy dan Xiao yang untuk membawa kita ke kawasan tempatan, dan bertindak balas kepada keperluan setiap permintaan, marilah kita memahami dengan budaya Bai, ia lebih terintegrasi dengan kehidupan setempat, Taman Xilin penuh dengan sentuhan manusia, terima kasih telah bertemu, kami akan datang lain kali.

JJonathanStayed here for 2 nights. It is well-located on the side of the ancient town, allowing us to reach the main sights of Shaxi within 5-10mins walk. Easy with the luggages too if you are arriving in a car which can stop right at the main door. The suite was huge with separate living area, bathroom and had a nice wooden decor. Although it’s already been operating for many years, it felt brand new! Hotel compound itself was beautiful with an airy garden setting. We enjoyed taking breakfasts & afternoon tea at the outdoor benches by the dining hall. Even though it was fully-booked on one of the days, it never felt crowded at all. Staff were courteous, always smiling and happy to offer their services or advice. This is a property one should definitely consider if intending to spend more days in Shaxi & the neighbouring area, so that you could enjoy the hotel itself.

PPengguna TetamuThis little gem is 5 min walk away from the old city, along the river. You can reach the famous bridge following the river, a nice stroll away from the crowd. The rooms are truly beautiful and the overall atmosphere is peaceful, even with kids around. It’s well decorated and very high quality furniture and bedding. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they welcomed us with tea, fruits and snacks. They provide also a « shuttle » to go to the old town and pick you up anywhere in the old town maximum 20min after sending a message. The Chinese breakfast was different everyday and delicious. One day we left early and they gave us some part of the breakfast to go. We wanted to ride bicycles and they sent us a contact and location to get them. Same for a driver to go to the mountain. They are all the kindest people. We really recommend this place.

Sstylephoebe1 night stay at this minsu which is located next to the North Gate to town. Car is accessible for those who have big luggage, no need to worry about the cobbled streets.
Being off-peak season we got a free upgrade to a suite with bathtub.
Amenities are great and service are prompt too. Owners are friendly and so is the resident cat 😂

PPengguna Tetamu這個房間是在一樓，內部空間比較大，我沒想到的是還配備了智能家居，衞生間乾濕分離，裝修方面很捨得，是我住過最乾淨、設施最齊全的家庭型民宿了。
院子不大但很漂亮，大哥和姐姐在院子裏種了很多植物，還養了魚和小貓，很温馨。晚上一邊等天黑，一邊坐在院子裏和大哥、姐姐有一搭沒一搭地聊天是我在沙溪最懷念的時光之一。
大哥和姐姐家裡還有做菌子生意，所以對各種菌子特別瞭解，七八月正好是長菌子的季節，他們不忙的時候會上山采菌子，下山了就給我展示各種戰利品，熱情地給我講解。因我一個人出行，他們有時候吃飯也喊上我一起，我在民宿裏至少蹭了有三頓飯🥹好吃是其次，主要是心裏特別感動。
二樓有很大的露台可以晾衣服，也可以看到晚霞，露台上的洗衣機也可以用，洗衣機還有風乾功能，衣服幹得挺快的。
在這裏住非常方便像家一樣，很希望未來還有機會相見。

During my trip, there was a small incident: the flight from Shangri La to Vietnam was canceled so the homestay in Shangri La had to be rescheduled. However, I could not contact the homestay because I did not have a Chinese phone number. The homestay owner in Shaxi helped me contact and talk for me because my Chinese was not good. Breakfast is good, we also used the kitchen to cook. And especially the hotel owner is also very handsome. If I have the opportunity to return to Shaxi, I will continue to stay at this hotel.
