Cantonese hospitality at its best!
The family who runs the place masters the art of taking care of their guests. We posses a limited Chinese vocabulary, but with the help of a translation app, and their eagerness to make us feel at home, we had a great time.
The rooms are spacious and clean, we travel a lot and this was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while being in China.
All amenities are supplied (including a snack box in the room!) and everyone has been helpful in ensuring we had all we needed.
Breakfast was generous with many local dishes, ones we, as foreigners, most likely wouldn’t have tried on our own.
The location is very convenient; Zilicun entrance is a 8 min walk. You can easily spend the whole morning in Zilicun to enjoy the scenery before it gets too hot.
Afterwards we came back to enjoy lunch at the homestay - the restaurant serves tasty food.
In the evening the scenery is stunning, a lot of effort has been put in landscaping the garden and the towns main buildings are perfectly illuminated.
The family’s generosity, together with the facilities and the cosy performances at night made our stay very special. Thank you again!

One of the most pleasant and unique stays in Kaiping China. The rooms were spacious and clean, the attention to details were greatly appreciated, the complimentary tidbits were yummy. Breakfast was a spread and really value for money.

This is the most satisfying and comfortable B&B I stayed in during this trip. The room is very clean and the breakfast is very rich. It can be used as a destination for travel and relaxation. The B&B covers a large area and is full of beautiful scenery. It is also very enjoyable to be in a daze here. It is very close to the scenic area. I can also see the Diaolou in the room. I like it very much and will definitely come again next time. The restaurant is also very good. One of the dishes was even featured in "The Taste of Old Guangzhou". Magang Goose and Crucian Carp Rice is a must-order. You can eat, stay and play in the B&B. The boss and the store manager have a very good service attitude, and the waiter who serves the dishes is also full of smiles.
