Jianshui Qianyu Scenic Homestay

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Very friendly and helpful host who not only provide excellent services but went the extra mile by helping book the transport to our next destination . The place is also beautifully decorated .

They were so nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great : calm but very close to all touristic areas. They were very accomodating : the lady gave me lot of touristic advices, served me tea, and let me check-in earlier and also served me breakfast a bit earlier so I could catch my train back. Located right in the old town center. Hosts are so helpful and friendly. Fresh fruit and nice tea served all day. The guesthouse is in a beautiful traditional house with courtyard. This is where you want to stay when you’re coming to Jianshui!!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable. The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special. This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time. Nice homestay, clean and the owners are so charming. The lady owner contacted us before arrival via WeChat, offering to pick us from the railway station, the charge is RMB 20 per car. It was a great offer since the car drop us off right at the front of the homestay. Should we have taken the Didi which was just a little cheaper, we would have to walk from the main road and drag our luggage to the homestay thru the rocky roads. Distance to the old city was short, very convenient.
